If you’re up for some water sports or just want to soak in the stunning views of Newport Beach, the Newport Aquatic Center is the place to be! 🌊🚣‍♂️ Imagine paddling alongside graceful manta rays and spotting jumping fish in the bay – it’s an adventure you won’t forget! 🐟✨

I love that they have free parking – I’ve never had a day where I couldn’t find a spot. Plus, there are public restrooms available, making it super convenient. It’s an excellent launch point if you’re headed to the Newport Harbor or simply want to explore the bay and chill. 🚗🚻

We had a great experience at the Newport Aquatic Centre located in Newport Beach, CA! The facility was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.

Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend it for families& friends.

We went kayaking this morning and rented both single and double kayaks, which were in great condition. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the rental process smooth and easy. There's also a huge parking lot with plenty of space, and parking is free. The location is beautiful, with easy access to the water and stunning views. Overall, it was a fantastic outing!

Great place to enjoy the area. You have lots of options here. Beach with the kids. Rent equipment and enjoy the water or bring your own. You can go explore the marsh and see crabs, rays, birds and fish. You can paddle in the area and explore other places. Good place for beginners as there are not a lot of waves and lots of people trying it for the first time. Pro tip if you are parking in the dirt DO not go all the way to the back. The sand is loose and all vehicles get stuck there if you have a 4x4 you can get out otherwise your day will get more interesting

Great place to get out on the water in Newport without a lot of motorized traffic. I love kayaking but prefer a more mellow experience and this certainly worked. Good pricing for the area and the staff here are very good. Parking can be a little tough on weekends and during peak beach hours but nothing unbearable. Definitely check it out if you are looking to kayak, paddleboard, etc.

A very good place for boating🚣🏻, there are all kinds of boats to choose from. $20 an hour for a single person and $26 an hour for a couple. You can also rent a paddle board and bask in the sun on the water LOL. The staff are friendly and the facilities and equipment are well managed.

I’ve joined members as a guest to paddle board the bay where surfing’s not possible.
We also had choices for rentals of kayaks and canoes.
The staff were friendly, helpful and informative.
I opted not to use the training wheels at first, then felt funny doing stand up, lest I took a fall!
After I getting the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. Paddling the flat bay seemed like the closest thing to walking on water!
Member parking is right up to the building. Overflow and non-members may park in the dirt lot next to the center or along the wall side of North Star Lane.
