Oakland Nature Friends is a nature-loving hiking club and an excellent place for yearly German dances and German festivals. I attended the Biergartenfest 2018 and it is such a beautiful location. I enjoyed the entertainment. The costumed NF Schuhplatter dancers were fun. The German beer and food was delicious. I can't wait for Octoberfest.

If you want that authentic Oktoberfest experience then this is the place to go. It's set in the Oakland hills with beautiful views of the bay. At their fests, the food is terrific and so is the beer. The best part is they don't gouge you on the prices. $4 bottles and 5$ drafts are a great deal when you consider many fests charge you as much as $7 - $10. The place is also very family friendly with games and activities for the kids. Try it once and bring the family and you might find something new to do each year. Bring your best shoes for dancing too because the bands are always great.

Absolutely beautiful place there festivals are fantastic and take place three times a year in the summer great place to be a member if you want to get your hands dirty and do some work and enjoy the benefits of their wonderful lodges.
