It's a one-century old church, I especially liked the wooden roofing. They have big screens to read the Gospel. Their ortography in Spanish is really ugly 🤣 please have somebody check spelling!!!

In my pilgrimage to attend mass in every church in San Diego county I attended Mass here. Catholic church has a simple atmosphere. Parking can be limited, so arriving early for Sunday mass is recommended. I found a spot a few blocks away.

Truthfully, I am not Catholic & I do not always believe or agree with some of their church doctrines so why the 5 star rating? To make a long story short, I am currently on temporary disability & sometimes I am in pain & not able to travel far.to attend another church. My wife however grew up Catholic & she wanted to attend St. Mary’s for a mass service. Well, the church is very close to where we live & they have services on her day off so why not give it a try. So, as a non denominational Bible believer of the Christian faith, I appreciated the fact that this church has a very conservative approach to the worship service which I like. The priest presents short sermons during mass that has been so far in alignment with the scripture which is a big plus. The people are also friendly & welcoming. Overall a positive experience & I think I will continue to come here.
