Outstanding Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Napa Valley Care Center over the years, and I’m consistently impressed by the dedication and professionalism of their team. One thing that truly stands out is the tenure of their employees and many of the staff have been there for years, which speaks volumes about the quality of their leadership and the culture they’ve built.

If you’re considering Napa Valley Care Center for a loved one, you can trust that they’ll be in capable and caring hands. My experiences with the individuals here have always been positive, and I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for skilled nursing care.

The medical and some administrative staff here are excellent! Unfortunately, they are too few and not paid enough! Very hard workers and doing what they can, spread as thin as they are to be able to cover all the needs of the patients. They also need a little more time matching up roommates for their special needs, especially for those with dementia and brain disorders. They definitely need more nurses and more CNA’s to provide the excellent care that so many here deserve! The ratio of caregivers to patients does not represent top quality. But they all do the very best that they can. they are very friendly and very caring……. a few things do fall through the cracks, but no fault of the caregivers.They need help! The dining room needs a bit of help as well for they don’t quite understand most times why older folks cannot handle very spicy food. A few tweaks and everything should work like clockwork!

This facility's staff is amazing. They went above and beyond during my grandmother's stay here. The place has large, comfortable rooms where family can visit, and the dining room is enormous. They often have musicians come and play. There are patios with gardens, and it's right next to hospitals and healthcare providers. I loved that it's constantly being updated, but the best part of this facility is undoubtedly the staff. I feel that they truly care for their patients and provide top-notch care.

In the time I spent here, I was impressed by how hard-working and accommodating the staff were. There are a lot of patients to care for, and the staff do an amazing job balancing the different preferences and needs of all the patients. They are undergoing a full renovation and the facility feels very clean and welcoming.

I spent a few months at Napa Valley Care Center and have nothing but fantastic things to say about the staff there. The director of nursing is one of the happiest and welcoming people I have met. My interactions with everyone from the admissions team to the floor staff and even the maintenance crew were always very positive. The place looks great with the new remodel. I would happily send a family member there.

Back few years ago I used to work for Napa valley care center as a housekeeper it didn’t last long because the lack of language barrier I worked with all Mexican workers and they were being very mean towards me and when I tried to apply for work there again in 2018 the Administrator emailed me saying this “Hi Christine,
It looks like you were a housekeeper for us less than a month. What happened back then? What makes you feel that you would be a better fit in Dietary?” I find that to be a little discriminated to why would you want to email someone who’s trying to try again to work with this place I think you should give someone another chance to apply here again but it’s okay I wanted to give this place no stars they are very dirty they don’t care about their patients and all! Disappointed

Avoid this hellhole! My family member was sent there temporarily for recovery. The lady sharing the room with her screamed 24/7, so she couldn't sleep. It was over 100° outside and the air in her room did not work. Her room was 98°. It was like this for 3 of the 4 months that she was there. She had a drainage device hooked up to her chest. They would refuse to change it when it was full, until it would back up and her clothes and bed would be soaked. Because of this, she would change it herself, then the nurse would yell at her for it. After getting going home, they refused to provide her medical records to the dialysis clinic so she could start dialysis where she lives. She will die without dialysis, so we had to turn them into the state to get them to do so! They called her at 5:30am at home to harrass her! If you care about your family member, do not send them here!

No complaints at all. They were very nice and helpful these last two weeks while taking care of my grandpa. They also took great care of my grandpa, which we appreciated. They did physical therapy and administered the meds he needed regularly. I would recommend.
