Having to deal with the Oklahoma Tag Nazis has always ranked with me, somewhere between a colonoscopy and a root canal. But, I gotta give Indian Springs credit for how they are handling the OK Real ID Drivers license.
Even though this place reeks old school Oklahoma tag office, ran by retirees, operated in a small office packed with totally non-essential home décor items, they have a good system: online appointment reservations vs. show up and hope you get in that day.
That’s what got me in the door. With every other agency I checked, their system was show up and wait. Most agents only process a little over 35 a day. It you are there early enough and willing to wait ….you might get in.
I made our reservations through Indian Springs online system; showed up at the reserved appointment time and my wife and I were out in a little less than an hour. If you still need to renew your DL make sure you thoroughly and carefully read the documentation requirements required for the for the Real ID. If you show up and don’t have your documents in exactly in order, I fear for your safety … you may be facing a firing squad!
Indian Springs is not my agency of choice in the Broken Arrow area, but they get a couple of stars their online reservation system. Hopefully if the Oklahoma Government computer system is up and functioning (it crashes a lot) you can get in and out reasonably fast and without a traumatizing experience.
Oh, and while we are on the topic… if we can have a tag agency inside a gift shop why can’t we have one inside a bar and grill, or a bowling alley, or a Mexican restaurant or shooting range or a movie theater. Hey how about inside Bass Pro. Jeeeezus Come on tag agents get creative
Not everyone needs scented candles, purse lights, or potpourri …… only in Oklahoma!!

I called early Saturday morning to find out if they did state IDs on a Saturday. The nice lady Sandra at the front desk. Let us know that not all offices provide that service but they did. She also let me know that they had two cancellations and if I were to hurry, they will be able to squeeze me in. Sandra was most kind and informative all of the staff there were kind and worked very efficiently and fast. I had a really good experience there and it started with the smile on Sandra’s face when we walked in.

I’ll always drive out of my way to go see these ladies! They are phenomenal! I made an appointment online for my sons permit but there wasn’t a permit option so I selected drivers license instead. When I got there they let me know that they needed way more than 15 minutes for a permit but they would do their best, it was 4pm on a Friday! They got us all taken care of despite the major inconvenience that the website put them in. I watched another appointment after me go through the same issue.

To the C levels or web designers for the state: Please update your website with ALL of the appointment types so these ladies aren’t having to deal with this anymore. It’s not fair to them or the customers. I can’t imagine how many people walk in there everyday with the same issue and these wonderful ladies are having to put fires out before they even get to help the customers. Yet they still handled it so professionally.

These ladies handled it with grace and were so nice to my 15 year old when taking him through all of the steps. They are hands down the BEST TAG AGENCY in the Tulsa/BA area! Oklahoma even!

Wished I would of got the lady's name when you walk in and need to check in. She needs to go back to customer service school 101... I spent the last 17 years working for the DMV in Colorado and if I would have talked to the public the way she talked to me, I would of been in the unemployment line. Very rude and I couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough..
Did not have the right docs and that was on me but was not ever told first names have to read the same as passport..
Anyways will have to take off work again another day, but because of her rudness I will go somewhere else! Glad we have choices!!
The sad part is, ALL the other ladies in there were nice and very professional.
But because of this one lady, I it gets a one star..

I came in to renew my license & hit a snag along the way that I didn't know about. Dena was absolutely wonderful. She went out of her way to contact all parties needed to correct the error. I have never had a more pleasing experience at a Tag Agency. Thanks again!

All n all it was quick and painless getting a title signed over to me. I don't think the young lady that sold me the car would say the same. But I'm legal tag on my ride. rude people suck.

They were very kind, Helpful making sure that you had every piece of information needed to do the real ID. Highly recommend kindness goes along way.!!
