I've been a member for two years. There are frequent exhibitions and classes for local artists. The association draws from a highly eclectic and talented group of artists. There are also cooperative shows with other arts societies. Please support the MBAA as we grow our local arts scene and put it on the same aesthetic footing as the galleries in much larger cities.

Excellent locale for area artist to display their work. Has been at this location for a number of years. Went in yesterday to show my photography website and see if the M.B. Art Center would be interested in any of my Morro Bay area images.

Check out their 2020 Gallery Show Schedule. Nice mixture and array of artistic mediums set for the coming year.

This is a wonderful art gallery in Morro Bay that offers a variety of services for an artist. I used to show my work in this gallery, and my mom did as well. There is usually a theme for the works that are displayed. Roughly, the theme changes monthly. There is a fee to join the association and be allowed to display your pieces. It is a good place to try to sell your artwork if that is your desire. I myself never made a sale at any of the shows that I've exhibited in. For me, it is about sharing moreso than making a sale. Having my work on display for others to enjoy is what was important to me. Art is meant to be viewed by others, pondered upon, and made public for the masses to enjoy. It's a great feeling knowing that somebody unknown to yourself may be critiqueing your artwork as opposed to having your piece hanging in your house for only you and your associates to view. Like i said. You can display your art here. Anybody can. Just pay a tiny fee. I think it's like $20. Also, they offer various art classes. For instance, my girlfriend will be modeling there for a figure drawing class next wednesday the 15th of Feburary.

Sweet neighborhood gallery. We visited when they were having a local artist exhibition and we enjoyed seeing what our community can do. Did some early Christmas shopping too.
