Good church in some ways abd they could improve in others...but overall worth 5-stars because they do preach and try to live the Gospel, and they have a great bible college. There were many things the Sr. Pastor could have done better when it came to personal relationships with others. Having now been in full-time ministry myself since 2007, as I look back, I realize Dave Carlson had some ego issues and insecurities he projected on others. So I received a valuable lesson on areas to watch out for myself. That being said though, the pastor does love the Lord...I believe that. On the funny side of things, he kind of looks and acts like an overweight Chevy Chase ala "Christmas Vacation". Ha! Ha! Nothing in life is perfect though so I still think this is a good church. They care. They make the effort. And I have met both some good and not so good people here. There was lots of nepotism in this church when I attended and they were horrible in counseling of relationships/marriage but hopefully that has improved by now. Good childcare. Good Sunday school classes, nice, clean church. Many neat events put on by this church. Probably not everyone's cup of tea but worth checking out and giving a try.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Pastor Dave and Pastor Gabriel are very good speakers. The music is very up lifting and the worship team is excellent.
If you are looking for a full gospel church, you will love this one. There is something for everyone. Children are provided for at EVERY service, Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. They try to have childcare at all the activities and Bible studies so that you can enjoy the fellowship. There is Men's breakfast on Monday at 7:30 a.m. and Women's Bible Study on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by lunch usually at Wendy's, expect to pay for what you order. There are youth programs and special holiday activities for every age group, that are announced in advance so you can plan for them. And, other special events that are planned far enough inadvance and announced at every service, so it is impossible for you to miss them.
This church is well organized and has something for everyone. If you don't hear about a group you are interested in, just ask. They are more than willing to help you find a group that you fit in comfortably. They treat you like they have been your home-church the very first time you attend.

I enjoyed the worship service. Pastor Dave shared a fitting Easter message and I especially enjoyed the opening choir's music. MCA is one of my campuses community partners, so it was very nice to go and share their service with them. As I do visit this church on occasion, there was only one thing that I was not comfortable with, especially on Easter, and this was it. Your church was the one of four churches I attended that day that I felt the least welcomed. I know it was Easter and very busy, but still, a guest should never have to go up to strangers and introduce themselves to be acknowledged. Maybe your members think your church is to big, and don't want to grow, but with a decline in church worship services on the rise, we should be welcoming anyone to the fold. If your members don't want to grow your church, please, send them to my church, Lord of Life Lutheran on the next block. I assure you, there they will be recognized and loved by someone in the congregation when they walk in our doors. Pastor Dave, I know the love you have in your congregation, I see it on my campus every year, but I ask you to show it each Sunday morning when God sends strangers to your church's doorstep. If it had not been for Ed&Cindy Lotz(lifetime friends), and yourself pastor, I would have felt like a nobody. This review is to help and inform, and is in no way meant to be negative. My family and I attended the Harvest Festival 2018 and boy was it a great time! My daughter is 10 and my son is 9 and there was something for all the family. From rock climbing, paintball shooting, laser tag, jouseling, and game galore it was truly fun for the family. I have NEVER been to this church until tonight and I do not know anyone who attends there. But, I will say there was absolutely nobody hounding you to come to their service; of course they did say when their services were but again no hounding 👍. ALL THE VOLUNTEERS were so FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING to the community. It was awesome and of course lots and lots of candy😃😂. 💖How church should be.💖

Only one person greeted me at this church and I have a clue that everyone could have been wondering why is the s African American man at at 98 percent white church. I saw only one other African American in the band. I didn’t get true vibe that I was wanted.

PASTORS ARE AWSOME 😊 VRY TRUE TO THE BIBLE, N KNOWS WHT THEY TEACH. AMAZING PASTORS THAT TAUGHT ME AN MY HUSBAND SO MUCH, AN ALSO MARRIED MY HUSBAND N AN I.WE SO APRECIATE THEM FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS AN SOULS.
