I was put in marygram when I was little. Maybe, 7ish... along with two older siblings and three smaller.being to little to fully understand what was happening and why, it was scary. But, this place was a blessing. We were split between the three halls. Teens, youth and infants. The staff was compassionate to us. I will Forever appreciate the staff and this place for making me feel safe.

I stayed at this place when I was little. I probably went here probably like 12 times in my life. I am 49 now and the things that I remember was one girl got caught all the way down the hall on the boys side and staff pulled her by her hair and dragged her back down to the girls side. I almost got adopted out but I didn’t. I waited for my mom, but she never came.

I was there when I think I was 11 or 12 for 2 months, that was the safest I had ever felt! I am now 64 and always tell my husband when we are on the freeway that was the best place. Staff was amazing back then

I was here so many times as a child between 96-2000 it was so bad. The staff gave no cares, let the kids fight one another, picked favorites, and just all bad memories. I feel for all those kids that are there. I’m 32 now w my own kids & im so glad I don’t live in cali anymore cause I would not let my kids ever meet that place.

Was there in 1966 too 1968 was not a good place then they had a Dr who was a mean sob but other then that t he staff was ok then it was called Mary Graham Hall
