Such a wonderful non denominational church that is rooted in the word and not the world. We were greated warmly and were so impressed by Pastor Joe's incredible solid bible teaching. If you love apologetics this is the church for you. I have never been to a church that has taught so heavily out of the bible. It's almost like being in Seminary School. Definitely not opinion based, it's all scripture driven. Friendly people and a wonderful children's ministry too. Pastor Joe is one of a kind. You can also follow their YouTube ministry, Good Fight Ministries.

The most amazing people you could ever find worship here! They so warmly welcomed my mom and I back after 20 years of absence with 0 judgment, and by the power of Jesus, they even remembered our faces. Pastor Joe is extremely knowledgeable and preaches directly from the Bible. The message here is hopeful and honest and does not deviate from the Word of God. You will hear truth here and be surrounded by an incredible fellowship of wonderful God loving people! If you are new to the Lord and the Bible, I highly reccomend Blessed Hope because I trust Pastor Joe's teaching. He backs everything he says up with scripture and his years of study is very evident when he speaks. Or if you have a working knowledge and need a new church home and want to dive deeper, this is a wonderful choice. I drive from Inglewood to attend and it is very worth it!

What a long journey it has been for me to find this church, so blessed to have found them. 8 years ago the Lord saved me from a long life of darkness and went through a couple of churches where they were not teaching the Bible so I left them. After that I was introduced to deliverance ministries and that was so detrimental to my walk with the Lord. I started to believe that temptations were because I had demons and might be cursed instead of what the Bible says that we are sinners and we are tu turn away from them “submit to God resist the devil and he will flee”. Unfortunately this caused me to eventually give in to sin because “I couldn’t help it demons are causing me to do this”. In the world I used to watch “they sold their souls for rock and roll” and not too long ago I started watching some videos from good fight ministries and found out Pastor Joe Schimmel has a church in Simi valley and decided to come visit them. I am so grateful that the good Lord has lead me to this church as the people here are so loving and the pastor is doctrinally sound. I still haven’t introduced myself to pastor Joe but I’m happy to have found this Bible based church. Back to the basics!

I have found a church that stands boldly on The Word and doesn't just tickle your ears with love and tolerance messages but actually exhorts and guides and corrects when need be with sound Biblical doctrine. Courage would be the operative word when describing Blessed Hope Chapel, followed by conviction based on truth and love. Thank you, Pastor Joe. Although I live on the other side of the United States , I watch every video on Good Fight Ministries and 511 news . I watch Pastor Joe on his story of conversion and Iam 100 percent positive in my heart Joe is speaking truth and spreading knowledge on how Hollywood and the music industry is very satanic . I have searched for years looking high and low for a biblical church and have walked out of numerous “churches” claiming to be such. I am not a church hopper looking for absolute perfection by any means. But I am consistently met with disappointment after disappointment in hearing nothing but false doctrine and witnessing a Spiritual desert wasteland in every church I’ve visited. My ONLY trustworthy source of truth as of right now (other than my Bible ofc 😊) is through the online ministry of Blessed Hope Chapel and Goodfight ministries. I have followed Pastor Joe for over twenty years now after watching his powerful documentary, “They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll”, and have listened to days, weeks, months, and years worth of his teachings including his streaming Sunday services and can honestly say that I have never heard a single statement from this man’s mouth that does not line up with what I read in the Bible. There is no show boating or “secret” to his messages. Just plain biblical truth guided by the Holy Spirit through a very humble regular every day Joe 😊 I know that no man is perfect but IMHO this ministry is the closest I will ever get on this earth. I wish and pray and hope that I can be blessed to find a local church that I can trust the way that I trust Goodfight. I thank God constantly for the lifeline that is Blessed Hope Chapel and all that they do. My family has visited twice. If we didn't live so far away we'd have made this our home church. Both times we have visited , we had been treated like we we're long time members. Everybody is very friendly, very welcoming. And there is no nonsense in this Church, you will hear truth and Pastor Joe is a very friendly and loving pastor with a sense of humor. If you are thinking of attending, do so. If you are thinking of traveling to go visit, do so.
