Do NOT waste your time. They say they have space to see you until after the first intake appointment. There is a year plus wait list to be seen. Wasted two months jumping through hoops instead of getting my daughter help.

We have spent the last 9 weeks using this provider and I have to say honestly they have saved my child’s life. Their programmes are amazing with the greatest most beautiful and mindful staff. They have gone above and beyond for not only our child but us as a family. Helping us using amazing DBT skills and teaching us how to grow as a family unit and how to strengthen self love, self esteem, self care, mindfulness, creativity and most of all speak up for ourselves and others. Anna Ballas and your team you are truly amazing.

They had a staff member yell at my child who has mental health issues. This place is not ADA compliant. They will not allow my childs service animal to accompany my child. Management also know about the issue and informed us they do not care.
They also have safety issues with their new building such as unsafe guardrails in a second floor fence facing wooden stairs.

Such a kind and caring staff. They have helped my 2 boys with their ADHD. Never at any time have my kids avoided going, they are delighted to go and often run to see their provider before I have a chance to walk thru the door.

I can't say enough good things about Ohana. My child was referred here through MCBH. Ohana has made us feel like family, and continue to work hard for my child. They are continually expanding to accommodate the needs of MC and I am grateful for the services they provide our community. If you have been waiting to get services, I understand how difficult that is because I was in the same boat for years before Ohana opened its doors, and trust me it's worth the wait. When they bring your child in they will have a therapist and a psychiatrist dedicated to working with your family. They'll also have group therapy, skills workshops, and outpatient services available to you.

They brought my daughter back to reality, thanks to Dr. Bryan and all the wonderful people that works there I have my daughter back, graduating from high school with honors, pretty soon attending UCSD.

Have been reaching out for services for months. Initial call went well, though no services were available. Took weeks for an intake call for my teen son, then heard nothing back. I’ve reached out via email and still nothing - not even an email stating they don’t have services available. While initially excited for #Ohana through #MontageHealth it’s turning out to be like every other mental health program for teens/adolescents/kids: non-existent or unavailable. My initial call was a year ago.

Dr Thomas B. had raved about the grant money and the ability this organization would provide for local children with special needs and teens with mental health issues. Currently, CHOMP's Hartnell Center refers kids under 18yrs to Ohana's huge million dollar building. Even as an established Chomp patient with private insurance- still had to do two phone intakes- each a 1 month to schedule. After more waiting- status is finally on a waitlist for possible July appointment because the new "specialized" psychiatrist does not start til summer 2022. So much for a simple refill prescription. Not sure the Dr. foresaw a hub of very young social workers weeding out clients not based on insurance, or patient status , but because patient has autism. Something simple like telehealth is not offered. The intial referral started in Oct 2021, a second by local general doctor in Dec. Why a zero star merit? Due to supervisors make reference to "additional community resources", but never provide any.
