Hindu temple for Kamakshi, the Supreme female Divine form, who was worshipped by Maha Periyava, the saint of Kanchi monastery. They do the rituals very systematically chanting mantras perfectly. The ambience is very spiritual and peaceful

Though it is my 11th year in the Bay Area , I discovered the temple only 4 months before, on an anusham day and have been visiting every Friday since then, thanks to Her Grace. No words can describe kamakshi amman’s grace and beauty. We are all blessed to also have the opportunity to get Mahaperiyava’s padhuka Pooja done here. The priests are very kind , dutiful and very dedicated, they take sankalpam of all devotees before ambaal abishekam - something I have not seen happen in other temples I have visited. Priests ensure that no one ever leaves the temple without prasadam. It’s also amazing to see the community/ people support from behind the scenes to help conduct all rituals gracefully. Worth taking up sponsorship opportunities on a regular basis to support this beautiful temple.

The SKCC Community Center is a good gathering & worship place for devotees of Shankaracharya devotees. They organize regular events that can be tracked through their Application or Facebook page. A small space with idols & pictures of Hindu deities & spiritual leaders (Shankaracharyas). Good, Clean space for collective worshipping. Lots of parking space outside the centre. Good community of people that gather here.

Felt very happy being here. I went here with my husband on a Friday and were fortunate enough to have Darshan of Kamakshi abhishekam. Very pleasant atmosphere with devotees chanting many slokas. Must visit. The Periyava here is the show stopper!! Loved him. They were kind enough to give Prasad as annadhanam post the abhishekam. We were seated and served with kindness. Mahaperiyava charanam. Only request is to open the temple for longer time 🙏

Kamakshi Goddess and mahaperiyava so lovely to worship here, certainly periyava talking to you, so much blessings. Never miss this temple to visit.

The Suvasini pooja on Sunday was a fabulous event, mind-boggling that more than 1000 suvasinis were treated so gracefully in a well organised manner, breakfast and lunch also being provided - I bow my head in salute to the wonderful volunteers/organisers
