I’ve been dancing with Gurus of Dance for the past 9 years, and it has been an amazing experience. Over the years, I have learnt many different styles from different instructors. As I advanced my training, I had the opportunity to become an instructor which allowed me to develop strong leadership skills and helped develop my confidence. Through Gurus of Dance, I have had the amazing opportunity to perform at Warriors and NHL games. The community at Gurus is absolutely amazing! I have made so many great friends through the company who have become my second family. All the instructors are super encouraging and supportive, and under Aditya’s guidance I have grown tremendously as a dancer and as a person! If you are looking to further your passion for dance, I would definitely recommend Gurus of Dance!

Being the first time participant for the class and on top of it attending a virtual class, the instructor Suniana and the director Aditya did a phenomenal job of not only accommodating but also an excellent dance training. I truly enjoyed the practice sessions as well as the timely feedback by the instructor. About the show, it was a great experience for me as the show was organized very well and includes performances by some of the expertise which is absolutely a great inspiration / motivation.

All in all, in short, join the party to have a wonderful / fun time. Learn (dance) while you earn (fun).

Today as my daughter graduates from Gurus of Dance we cannot be thankful enough to Aditya Patel, Yogini Patel and the team for such an incredible journey.
For us it was not just a dance school, it was a powerhouse for lessons of life.
From a shy girl in the back of a room, Aanya evolved to a team player and leader.
Gurus of Dance has taught her more than just dance, being a Lead captain, she gained so much experience of running things behind the stage, the math of business, the skill of people management, being able to keep up with multi tasking and crazy hours with a smile on the face.
Recognizing kids for their talent and potential and nurturing the kids to put the best foot forward is a skill that Aditya Patel has. As a true Guru he is fair and pushes potential and gives Credit where it is due.
The 10 yr long journey was incredible.

Our daughter has been going at Gurus of Dance for the last couple years and this review is overdue. As parents we are very happy with the dedication and passion that is demonstrated in each and every class and by each and every instructor. Her dance technique has tremendously improved over the last couple years and she is well on the way to becoming and very well rounded dancer primarily due to the breath of dance styles that are being taught. In addition to the dance itself – I do see some of the soft skills that are being ingrained in the kids through dance including team work, commitment and last but not least perseverance to improve, all of which are invaluable. Great job Aditya and the gurus of dance team. Our daughter loves the classes and the instructors and always looks forward to going to the class.

My daughter Shreya Madhireddy joined Gurus of Dance school about 11 years back when she was a 6 year old and what a ride it was for us! I remember my daughter Shreya’s performance as a 1st grader - she was shy, unsure of her footwork and remembering steps and struggling to pull a performance together. From there over years, Shreya blossomed into a high performer not only at dance and even tried vocal and acting with an all round performance. With every passing year - she grew In confidence and leadership skills - to become junior dance captain and then a senior dance captian.. and then to become an dance instructor, a pseudo entrepreneur running the Cupertino location all by herself. The confidence she gained and the work ethic she learnt through the process helped her evolve not only as a performer but also as a leader not just at Gurus of Dance company but at her extracurricular pursuits as well. Aditya has been instrumental in providing the right environment, encouragement and guidance for Shreya and as we have seen, for many other kids. Shreya felt like she was part of a family not a dance school and that goes to say a lot about Aditya Patel and the school he has built!

My daughters have been going to Gurus for a few years now and I can see tremendous improvement in their dancing abilities as well as stage presence. My older one graduated this year. I have seen how she transformed into a mature well rounded dancer/performer. Both my girls love dancing and would never skip a class or event for anything. They enjoy working with the dance director Aditya and the other instructors. Aditya knows each child's strengths and weaknesses and trains them accordingly. He never compares or puts a child down, but uses positive criticism and encouragement where the child willingly wants to improve. He trains them in different styles of dancing and periodically conducts workshops taught by renowned dancers. He provides them with a lot of opportunity to perform on stage, like NBA (warriors) pre-game/halftime shows, NHL half time shows, etc. In addition to dancing, he also trains them to become instructors which teaches them a lot of life skills along the way. We are very happy we found this company for our girls. This is the place to be for anyone who is very passionate about dancing.

I’ve been dancing with Gurus of Dance for many years, and throughout my time here I’ve felt myself grow tremendously as a dancer. I’ve learned so many different dance styles and techniques and had the opportunity to showcase my skills in numerous dance shows and unique events such as an NBA basketball game. Not only have I grown as a dancer, but I’ve also gotten confidence as a leader through my time as an instructor. Gurus of Dance has an emphasis on creating an environment with close bonds to help foster growth in all its students. I’ve learned many things that I can use not only as a dancer but also in various other aspects of my life. Overall I’ve had a wonderful time here at Gurus of Dance and would definitely recommend joining if you’re looking to expand your skillset as a dancer.

Manali + Aditya made the dancing experience fun for our family. They broke down the choreography in easy steps that ages 4-70’s were able to learn + follow along. Each of us were complete amateurs. They were both great with communication + emails for our Zoom practices. We had a great + memorable experience the family will forever remember.
