I have supported a child through World Vision for years. I have also contributed to wells, mosquito nets, medicine, school supplies, etc.

Last year, they sent me a letter telling me that a little girl needed a sponsor and I was the only one they were asking. I was very angry at the way they tried to guilt me into thinking this poor child would die on account of me if I didn't sponsor her. I wrote a letter and I called. Nobody even bothered to call me back. I have since ceased to give to anything other than the support of my child. And I will probably keep it that way.
