I found out about this organization through the SF Public Library. I'm approaching middle age and never had a lot of exposure to the technology so regularly used now. I feel very left behind in some ways and have learned just enough to get by. I needed some help with basic file organization and got an appointment with the wonderful people at the Valencia Street location. Angelo facilitated the appointment and I met with both him and a knowledgeable intern named Milly . They were incredibly helpful, genuine and kind. I couldn't have asked for better people to assist and guide me in a way that was comfortable. I left feeling more confident and empowered and signed up for their free computer literacy program, which they introduced me to. I'm really grateful I stumbled upon this organization!

Dev/Mission's commitment to empower young adults through free education in the technological realm is truly impressive. Dev/Mission is a significant provider of training to youth who may have not have access to knowledge in the tech field. Dev/Mission is a great stepping stone to new careers and greatly contributes to a more diverse tech industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.

A chance encounter online lead to an impromptu visit to the facilities and boy was it a special treat! I was greeted at the door by the visionary who started it all, and he proudly displayed a working classroom, complete with students! LOL... Well, I did say impromptu, and they just happened to be huddled together in a mini break from the activities. Kudos to you Senor Leonardo Sosa for your effort to "...bring fire to the people..." (metaphorically speaking, but straight on point with the vision and the mission -- right in The Mission). If you're of the age to participate, do so. So says... #TheBrokerWithAHeart
