I’m not giving them any stars because they don’t deserve them. It’s absolutely the most disgusting place for anyone. I took my Mother there for 21 day rehab and they mistreated her. She lay in pee and poop all night because nobody wanted to change her. She had 2 baths the whole time she was there. I filed a grievance with the social worker and nothing happened. She assured me she would take care of it but she didn’t. I kept going to different levels of staff and nothing was done. My mom had a stroke and my niece walked in and seen what was going on and got the nurse. They called an ambulance for my mom and took her to the hospital. My mom asked the ER doctor to please not send her back there because they were so mean to her. We took her home from the hospital instead of her going back to DIVERSICARE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS AWFUL PLACE.

Despite whatever improvements may or may not have been made to this facility over the past several years it is still definitely NOT the place you'd want to send a relative. The bottom line is that the staff members may be fairly nice but the facility is disgusting and it's falling apart. They've made some attempt to tidy/revamp the entry way and the front of the facility but the deeper you go into the facility the worse, and the nastier, it gets. If they're truly working on improving the place they have a VERY long way to go.

Took my Father here for a couple days, when my family went to pick him up, might I add he was there for 4 days! He had a big gash in his head, bruised from head to toe! My father was traumatize. Lost weight while he was there. It was horrible to see my father like that. He’s starting to come around a little more now. DON’T NOT SEND YOU LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY PLEASE! Staff is very rude! I could go on & on. Really sad what happened to my Father!

Absolutely the WORST care facility I have ever seen. My Mother-in-law checked in for a simple rehab after a broken arm. Within 3 day of checking in her money was stolen, no rehab was done, and she was being regularly being abused and neglected by the nurses and aides. When she began to have chest pain they refused to call 911. My wife had to force the issue before help was called for. For the sake of your loved ones, STAY AWAY.

There were a few nice people at this place but otherwise awful! I waited for a nurse with my mom for two hours to help her when she soiled herself. And that's when I was there! I had a resident come to me and warn me how they treated my mother! I was also told not to come after five p.m. or she would be up hollering all night! She was hollering because they would leave her in her room for hours! Imagine when I wasn't there!! I cane in one time and she was so doped up she kept nodding out !!! I'm surprised she didn't overdose! She was so unhappy!PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU LEAVE SOMEONE HERE! I am so glad we finally got her out of there!!!! Her mental and physical health has improved greatly!!!! She is now in an awesome nursing home!

Nasty! My dad has dementia and had to go there and it has been a nightmare. Never answer call lights. He is with hospice and had to try to walk to the nurses station to get help. His health went so downhill he couldn't make it to the nurses station. I caught them outside smoking instead! I had to go get water several times and was told to dip his glass in the ice!! Are you kidding. Never could get nurses to talk to me on the phone and caught one of them making fun of him. They serve them food my dog wouldn't eat! If you want your relative taken care of DO NOT send them there. Smells terrible and I have pictures of the dirt!

I have seen great improvements in this Center. Administrator and DNS handle any issues that come up right away. They have a great activity program.

Please do not send a loved one to this facility. Your loved one will lay in bed for hours before being assisted with bowel functions. If you call to ask someone to assist, they will fuss at the patient and tell them to not call a loved one. This place is as close to elderly abuse as you can get.
