I hate this place I had a family issue come up which required me to quit my job to help take care of 2 elderly family members which I don't get paid for, other relatives help with my rent and bills so I applied for snap benefits I swear they make things harder than it has to be, why move to a location where people will have a hard time getting to? They never answer the phone and some of them are rude and spiteful. I sent in all my documents and my caseworker said she could read everything except for the 2 letters I made sure everything was legible because I don't have the time to go all the way out to the new location all because I asked her why does she need a letter from relatives that live out of town who help with my rent and bills when it's all on file im just reapplying and never was asked to do that and then you want people with dementia to write a letter as well, do better not everyone is scamming some of us really need help

I don't get it at all!! I've been
On a crazy waitlist for my son since April to get him into daycare. I've switched I don't know how many times on different people to watch him. When it's not fair to him. I've been out of work for a while & luckily I've had people send me money to have. I work now two days a week. I was told no openings until the fall or January of 2025 unless a dropout, then my co worker told me recently she was able to get in a daycare all quick.... Like seriously I never once got a call back from anyone when I've called so many times. I might as well just quit my job which I'd hate to do. But quit & sell pictures of my feet on feet finder since I hear it's excellent money.

This place is an absolute joke. Teran Moore, the case worker that is “working” on my snap case, is unethical. She is retaliating against me by taking the entire 30 days she’s legally appointed to work on my snap recertification papers. I have reported her poor work ethic and social skills to her supervisor, who is conveniently out of the office for the entire week of 07/29/2024- 08/03/2024. Teran Moore has avoided responding to my emails and voicemails where I’ve continuously tried to establish communication with her concerning my recertification papers. She finally answered the phone after a FULL week of neglecting my case. She notified me that she didn’t receive ANY of my required proof of employment and check stubs. (All of which I have screenshots of emails where I submitted all required information.) She then notified me she has 30 days to update the information surrounding my case. Which means she can take however long she wants to work on my case. This place needs an absolute clean up. Nasty workers with poor work ethic and social skills is all this place is. And as a paralegal student, I will seek legal counsel to further look into the issues this particular office has with doing their jobs!

Greenville SC DSS kidnapped my friends daughter from her school in 2021. They falsified the entire case and lied throughout the case. My friend is a loving, caring mom who would never hurt her daughter. They were inseparable and now they made her move to Georgia destroying her life and dreams. Her life is out of control and DSS has turned her against her mom. This is sad and DSS has been abusing their powers for so long and they get away with it and steal kids. My friend doesn't know where her daughter is. Family Court is trying to cover up for DSS. DSS needs to be held accountable for lying and destroying my friends life and her and her daughters relationship and for DSS taking her daughter without legal justification. All she did was take daughter to the doctor.Her daughter shouldn't have been forced to move to Georgia with no family members in Georgia besides her dad. DSS placed her with her dad in Georgia and he has been convicted of two felonies and was on probation and did time in prison. Dad didn't even visit his daughter. DSS did not do a background check on Dad. Her dad abandoned her at a hotel in Georgia and she stayed with some lady her mom doesn't know. She keeps staying with strangers. Dad tells daughter not to tell her mom where she stays and where he resides. Her school won't tell her mom anything and mom hasn't lost her parental rights. My friend raised her daughter by herself for 13yrs. My friend doesn't know where her daughter is or if she's alive. Her dad and DSS has turned her against her mom. This is sad and DSS needs to be investigated and held accountable. Family Court has a responsibility to protect her daughter, but they haven't. My friend is heart broken Everyone please pray that her daughter is safe and that God will protect her and return her home

I would like to say, Girl keep on fighting DSS and don't give up! Because that's exactly what they want you to do! DSS and the courts are supposed to act in the best interest of the families and children that they serve. DSS and Family Court have acted illegally and what's worse is they are doing nothing to correct the harm that they have inflicted upon you and your daughter. It seems DSS are the only ones that profited from this since DSS gets Federal dollars for each child they remove. DSS have profited at the expense of you and your daughter. DSS and Family Court knows as well as everyone else that no hurt or harm has ever been inflicted this child. We know that GOD has already worked it out. Keep the faith! ❤❤❤

Just wondering what us folks that pay for their snap benefits do about the fact that we lost our food and now we can't afford to replace ours, because we don't have the money,because we are paying for their snap benefits and replacement. do we just find a shelter that might have food for us, or in the grand scheme of things we don't matter. We always help, but never qualify for help. Most don't want jobs or won't work at all that pay more money than what you've set the limit at because then they'll lose their benefits.

It's terrible what's happening in America right now. Officials are not responsible for anything... they receive high salaries and they simply ignore the work they are required to do. People ! Let's write a petition to the Senate. This is no longer possible... we asked for immediate help due to a terrible adult abuse. Today is the fourth day I’ve been waiting for some kind of answer from them...

If I could give DSS a minus 100 star I would. Yesterday, DSS asked Google to remove my review because it was the truth and I exposed them. So, this is a new review. DSS keep trying to silence me. DSS illegally removed my daughter from her school without my knowledge and she's been gone since Dec 2021. I have no idea where she is. DSS falsify and forge documents. DSS change dates on documents and file documents after the statue of limitation expires. DSS remove kids by Ex Parte so you can't be there to defend yourself against DSS lies. An Ex Parte hearing is when you the parent knows nothing about the hearing and allegations and a Judge issues an order to remove your child(ren) without your knowledge. This Agency needs to be investigated by the FBI. Please use all resources you can to report DSS for illegally taking your kids and falsifying documents. You can contact the FBI, SLED, The Inspector General, SC State Legislators, Office of Disciplinary Counsel for complaints against Attorneys and Judges, The United States Dpt of Justice, DSS Oversight Committee, SC Governors office, and SC Attorney Generals Office. Please go to South Carolina's State Legislative website and look for SC Children's Section Code Laws. Please print it and read it!! Then you will see all the Laws DSS and Family Court break. No one stops this State Agency from committing crimes against the public. You have the right to report this Agency for committing crimes against you and your kids.
