Nice people except Alisha Gregory. She’s so fed up with her job and her clients (including the new ones) it’s ridiculous. Poor baby must be in hot water or something. I pray that whatever she’s going through, things get better for her. She ask a lot of personal questions with attitudes that has nothing to do with what you’re applying for to look down on you. If it’s an issue with her pay or if she dislikes working with the public she should find a job that pays good all while working independently. I was once ashamed to even have to go to social services for help beforehand until Switchboard made me feel at ease. I promise you that this is just a stepping stone Ms. Gregory as some of us are only seeking temporary help because we had to sacrifice big time. Not because we’re lazy or don’t want to work. You’re not above me but I wouldn’t dare treat you as if you’re beneath me either.

I have tried calling several times to the employees that could help me with my issue. All the calls went to voicemail, it's been 3 days since I first called and left a message for a call back. This totally unacceptable, there are so many people that need help and can't get ahold of the right person.

This place is horrible! They lie and drag things out and ghost you. Romaine Edwards talked to me an hour on the phone, ghosted me and then lied to me. It’s just sad this so what these offices are like but it’s just how they all are:(

Our home caught fire January 15, 2024 3 days later my 80 year old mom whom I lived with had a blood clot in her brain causing her to have a stroke. We were displaced and I gave custody of my 4 young grandchildren. I didn’t get the interim in the midst of everything. Plus I had double pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung that kept me down most of March. I called begged turned in my interim and they have NO SYMPATHY for what has happened in our lives. Treat me like a case number. I have never lapsed in my case and honestly I view these social workers as just paper pushers with NO HEARTS! It’s been a week and still no foodstamps in an extreme crisis situation. They need new jobs not everyone is the same and situations and emergencies happen in my case a few of them back to back. I’m so disappointed. I even begged the supervisor but never got a call back. I mean we lost everything 3 weeks after Christmas and they’re treating us like a joke.

Five-stars specifically for Mrs. Andrew. She helped me at a time when I needed assistance, and my own worker cancelled my case without a single phone call, due to an issue with the mail which is outside of my control. Mrs. Sauders didn't even answer the phone, let alone call me back, including the supervisor. Mrs. Andrew, your kindness did not go unnoticed, and I wish you nothing but good luck wherever you are!

I sent an application 2 months ago and Keira Clark has not given me any response to my request much less has contacted me during this time, I have called him and sent messages, they are giving me information on how to report them to the supervisors because they never pay attention to those who really need it

Human services? More like we don’t care about you services. I mailed in my interim report for food stamps. Got a letter two weeks later saying I haven’t turned it in. I went in person about this. They said oh don’t mail it in the mail is unreliable. Ok? The letter clearly said to mail it in. Even came with a pre paid postage envelope. I re did the paperwork again, handed it to her personally. And my food stamps are cut off now….she clearly didn’t file the paperwork. These people don’t care about anyone. I’m not even gonna try to do anything. They’ll just give me attitude again and say I didn’t turn it in when I personally turned it in to them.
