I can’t say enough good things about Arthur Murray Millbrae! This studio truly has something for everyone, whether you’re looking to social dance, choreograph a special occasion, or dive into the competitive dance world. It’s a fantastic community where you can connect with fellow dance enthusiasts who share the same passion.

I’ve been dancing here for two years, starting from scratch with no experience, and I’ve learned so many dances thanks to the incredible instructors. A huge shoutout to Alex—he’s been an amazing support on my personal dance journey, always open to trying new moves and adapting my lessons as I grow. His enthusiasm for Argentine tango has been especially inspiring!

The management team, Tyler and Rhenell, genuinely care about their students and are always available for suggestions to enhance our experience. And let’s not forget the owners, Jenny and CJ, who have created such a welcoming environment. They hire the most kind, genuine, and supportive people, making it feel like a family every time you walk in.

Jenny is not only a phenomenal dancer but also a fantastic instructor. Her guidance has been invaluable in helping me navigate my dance goals, and I’m grateful for her support.

The only downside? Dance can be a bit pricey. However, I’ve found the investment to be worth every penny. The skills I’ve gained extend beyond the dance floor, boosting my confidence in everyday life.

Overall, if you’re looking for a place to learn and grow in dance, Arthur Murray Millbrae is the perfect spot! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my dance journey here. 💃✨

I signed up for an introductory lesson July of 2023 with the goal of being able to dance with anybody to anything and almost a year and a half later, I have fallen in love with not only dance, but the community that I’ve been welcomed into.

The studio, from the students to the staff have always been welcoming and warm. I’ve been lucky to have been able to work with many teachers who genuinely care about me as a person as well as my dance goals. My primary teacher, Jason, takes the time to find out where I want my dance journey to go and has helped map out lesson plans and goals to confidently get me there.

I’ve met several amazing people and have forged true friendships among various students, which enhances the dance experience so much more.

If you’re considering taking lessons for any reason, I strongly suggest trying Arthur Murray in Millbrae.

In January, 2023 we decided to sign up for dance lessons at the Arthur Murray Millbrae studio. Our plan was to learn a couple of “all purpose” dances so that we would look good on the dance floor at wedding receptions and dinner dances. Well, here we are well into 2024, and we are going strong! The instructors in Millbrae are the absolute best! They balance professionalism with being personable and fun! They also do a wonderful job of really listening to the needs of their students. I’m just sorry we didn’t start our dance adventure sooner!

Arthur Murray was a perfect place for me to start my amazing journey of self-discovery and confidence-building in dancing. I’ve always loved dancing, but felt most comfortable hidden in a crowded, low-lit dance floor. The lessons with the teachers are fantastic and there are so many dance events with other students that are fun and in a very supporting environment. The amazing talented staff will customize a dance program to suit your individual needs whether you come by yourself or with a significant other. The dance studio offers a huge range of different dances to learn and a wide variety of dance events so there is really something here for everyone. The warmth and kindness of the staff is mirrored by the students who are friendly and supportive of each other. AM Millbrae has brought so much joy into my life over the nearly five years that I have been coming into the studio!

As someone with two left feet I'm happy thar joined to AM. I didn't dance before, but now, 1.5 years later, I'm so happy with my progress. There are great teachers, nice environment. I'm going to the lessons not only because of dances, but also for AM vibes! After I moved from peninsula to east bay, keep coming, because cannot imagine any other studio to dance.
A lot of funny events, showcases, competitions. And additional bonus: great place to meet new friends.

Dancing is an excellent social activity, wonderful exercise and a great technical skill to have, and it helps with timing, balance and coordination. I have been with the Arthur Murray Millbrae studio since it opened about 5 years ago. The staff and dance instructors are highly knowledgeable, well-trained and well-practiced in all the ballroom dances, and are a joy to take lessons from. Students can select programs ranging from individual to group instruction at whatever pace they are comfortable with. It’s a safe and fun learning environment for all age groups. When I started with Arthur Murray, I had never danced ballroom before, but in a relatively short time I had progressed to getting gold medals in several different ballroom dances, from Waltz and Foxtrot to Country & Western to Salsa. The studio also offers many different venues for performances, from in-studio to Showcases and Dance-O-Ramas at many locations around the world. I have enjoyed my experiences with Arthur Murray Millbrae, and I believe you will too. Definitely a great studio with great instructors.
