Northbound was a truly life-changing experience for me. The detox and intake process was smooth and the residential living is superb. You can really tell the staff cares about each and every client. Dustin, the director of discharge, also got me setup with a great aftercare plan so I could continue my sober journey beyond Northbound. I am forever grateful for the friends I made here and for the care that I received.

Fantastic facility and a great program offered by the extremely caring team at Northbound. You really feel taken care of, from staff, therapists and the clinical team. Northbound has tremendous extra curricular activities too, which is key in recovery including a volleyball court, gym, basketball and more. The adventure recovery program allows you to get outdoors and travel outside the facility to places that fill your heart and soul. In addition they have wolf therapy, a once in a lifetime experience. If you are struggling with your mental health or addiction, I would highly recommend northbound as a dual diagnosis and court approved facility.

I’ve just completed my detox and residential treatment at Northbound.

The facility is split into two sections where I spent 13 days in the detox side and finished the remainder of 30 days on the residential side.

The staff members are outstanding and truly work hard to provide a caring and supportive environment. The community that is built while staying here has truly been a blessing.

While there are many facets of the program that may be shocking to some, they exist to help residents succeed and maintain sobriety.

I’m leaving here feeling healthy, recharged, and confident in myself that I’ll be able to stay sober while I transition back into the real world.

I cannot thank Northbound enough for the tools, support, and friendships that I’ve gained as a resident. I’m continuing my aftercare through their intensive outpatient program to further assist with my transition.

Even as an alumni, NB welcomes speakers and implements other successful support systems. I posted before finishing. They took the time to ĝet to know me. Offered me a way out. I was respected. Their are difficult clients. And they to where treated with respect. My art therapist literally taught me my new passion and career to make money as i was dead broke. The food was great. Follow the rules. They will help you. Join the Bible study group links (I was an atheist) and fill your soul. Don't complain and just listen. Stay away from the people that don't want it or are there for the wrong reasons. I know have 5 months clean. A sponsor , on the 9th step and spirituality. Take a leap of faith and go to northbound!

When I came to Northbound treatment in Orange County I was met with respect and compassion. The detox staff Misty, Keaton, David and the medical team addressed all of my withdrawal symptoms with compassion and professionalism. During my residential stay Ken, Candace, Dustin, Makayla and Anton taught me how to live life sober, love myself, and be the authentic me as they lead by example day in and day out. I entered the program with the lowest self esteem and left being able to look at myself in the mirror with hope for what this new chance at life had to offer.
