Valley Crisis didn’t let me have services with them when I was in a crisis and actually told me to stop coming to there opened group on Thursday because i needed more help according to them Vally crisis has not offered me any services for over a month my crisis is over the people who helped me through my crisis was actually ace overcomers and helped me overcome my traumatic childhood experience I’m on week 6 and I’m very thankful they were able to help during the time where I got my medication adjusted thank you so much for having opened arms and helping me through a hard time in life

I had the privilege of attending a comprehensive presentation of Adverse Childhood Experiences administered by Mr Ahrens. The venue for the presentation was Living Hope Community Church in Jacksonville NC. In attendance was my Senior Pastor, The Director of our Baptist Association, a Deacon currently serving and myself.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide a broad but detailed presentation with the purpose of integration ACE Overcomers into our Church. I was very interested and believe incorporating ACE Overcomers is vital to all institutions and churches, schools, business...etc. I contacted Mr Ahrens and he expeditiously enrolled me in the ACE Overcomers Course. I was impressed with the painstaking details taken to insure all areas of Trauma were covered. The course content was comprised of 12 modules with sub topics lessons between 8 and 12 lessons each opening my eyes to the devastating damage of ACE's.I learn trauma can happen to anyone and if not treated can destroy lives. I never imaged the scope of ACE's some I experienced and some people I know have.
The course exceeded my expectations the content was professionally organized and relevant. The post lesson quizzes were in line with the lesson covered and required my total focus on the content. All material covered was valuable and clearly explained. What I found very valuable was I could work at my own pace and review content. How to respond to ACE's is a quality of life issue. Identifying and actively striving
to live past ACE's is critical. Sustaining from Stinking Thinkin in my opinion is critical to Overcoming ACE's. The world would benefit from ACE's Overcomers, because we have all experienced or know someone who has. I would recommend ACE's Overcomers Training to everyone even those who say the have never experienced ACE. I now feel I am equipped to help others who are still living in the hurt of ACE's. More than anything I believe that a relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ is the first step we should take.
