I’m very grateful to the veterinary team for their outstanding care during my cat’s neutering. Everyone was attentive, professional, and provided clear explanations. The procedure went well, and recovery has been simple thanks to their advice. I highly recommend their expertise and dedication!

I adopted my baby boy from here! Most of the staff was helpful and the process to adopt was very painless and easy. I was able to put in an application on Thursday and pick up the cat on Monday. We have now had him for 2 years and he is the best decision I ever made! They have several cages with different options to choose from and you are able to meet with the cats and find which one works best for you 🙂

Our small volunteer homeless cat rescue group, TheLostCats.org, is extremely pleased with the services provided by Nine Lives in Redwood City. We regularly bring feral cats to Nine Lives to be fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Nine Lives has competitive pricing, and the San Mateo county feral cat vouchers further help reduce the costs.

The veterinarians and staff are all very knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate.

Nine Lives Foundation is a lifesaver for both feral cats and home cats. In my research and during my firsthand experience, i learned that the Nine Lives Foundation vaccine, microchip, and neuter/spay clinic on Wednesdays is the most inexpensive on the Peninsula.
My experience with Nine Lives Foundation has been very positive. The staff is very patient and knowledgeable about feline care and offered me so much good advice. I appreciate the opportunity to do business with Nine Lives Foundation. I highly recommend using their clinic as well as supporting their foundation.

Rescued two kittens at this place. The lady's who work there are super nice, the post adoption support for those who have issues is also great. This place is no-kill and they have tons of cats to adopt. Definitely give this place a shot.

I took my kitten for a spaying 11/15. Dropped her off 7/
7:30 am picked her up around 11 am. She was feeling fine but by Sunday she was weak and lethargic. Tuesday Mrng I finally called after speaking with a few vets and Carina said there was nothing they could do. The 70 hours had elapsed and it's best if I took her to a vet or emergency, ($500 later). Which, I did and took her to sage. Turns out she had an infection and a fever and was in pain. They were very upset 9 lives sent her home with me with no pain meds and refused to see her. They recommended I call and speak to the doctor whom called me the next day and said they could see her now. This was obviously too little too late. It's disappointing especially after my family donates to this foundation and needless to say we will Ng be any longer. They should have made it. A point to see my kitten and was very unprofessional, especially carina and no empathy for my pet. DO NOT take your pet here if you care for them. Fortunately I was able to afford the ER bill. However , many vets have also attested to the quality and reputation oof this foundation being bad now. Sadly, I can as well.

I have reached out to them previously, and they unfortunately did not have any openings at the time. However, after I had sent additional requests for assistance, a wonderful, sweet lady named Clare called me and informed me of an appointment cancellation and I was able to get my kitten in for a spay service within a couple hours. She was so incredibly sweet to me when I dropped off my kitten as well. I am so incredibly thankful to this organization and what they are doing. Other facilities not only try to tack on as many fees as possible, but they seem very much less interested in helping the animals versus getting money from you. These people genuinely care, and are making a huge difference. I will always be thankful for them and the work they do.

Brought my cat in on a friday morning. They take one cat at a time so had to wait outside in a line for about 10 minutes before they took her. I had a really great experience with staff, they were so friendly and clearly very committed to the work. My cat had no adverse effects and was eating and using bathroom normally within two days. The cone they give out was actually impossible to figure out and once i did there was no way my cat would sit still long enough for me to get it in place so I definitely recommend investing in a plush collar (like pictured). Other than that the procedure and process was very smooth and i’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends. Very affordable compared to other locations around me so it was well worth the hour drive. Theyre also very flexible with pickup times which worked great for me as I had to wait until I got off work to pick her up. Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my kitty :3!!
