The cashier lady in the morning is incredibly rude. Belittled me for not handing the change the way she wanted it and I was a loyal customer. Never again.

I went and got a sandwich here for lunch but couldn’t even eat because it was doused in mayonnaise after I asked for light mayo. I took one bite and it was completely inedible. I went back and explained to the cashier and the sandwich guy if I can get a refund or atleast have the sandwich remade. I only have a 30 minute lunch break and didn’t have time to return the sandwich so I saved it for the next day. They gave me a difficult time and I couldn’t believe it because I was a frequent customer and never complained about anything. I will never return to this disgusting place again. Food is disgusting

Giving them a 3 overall. Basic bodega that does good sandwiches and has a fine selection of everything else. Not a 5 because I recently bought a sandwich where I told them the ingredients I wanted and they covered it in mayo—which I didn’t ask for. When I returned 5 minutes later to tell them they made a mistake and I needed a new sandwich, they still charged me for the replacement. Very frustrating.

I have lived a block away from this store for 20 years. I used to go there often, sometimes to buy a quick beer. They are a relatively clean, well stocked convenience store. They used to post their prices and you could get a six pack for $8.99 which was reasonable. They stopped posting prices and so now they seem to charge whatever they want. I went in the other day. Six pack of Budweiser: $14.99. No thank you sir. Go to Mani across the street or even Duane-Read for beer. You will pay -30% less at least.

Their plants are overpriced for them to have mold and mildew on their leaves. Went in the daytime, the wife gave me one price of $40 for the fiddle leaf fig tree. It was pretty and cute but it wasn't in reach so that I could do a more careful examination. Went in the evening within a week later, the husband watched me pull out a $50 bill and said the same tree was $50 (before he went to get it). Watched him do all the work of pulling it out and rearranging the plants to get to it for him to bring me an unhealthy plant. And you wanted $50 for that (I asked out loud)? I pointed out it's many imperfections and flaws and said: Nope it's ok, I rehab plants but I'm not paying that much to rehab a plant that should be healthy when purchased.
