I new a girl who invited me to. Support group but they promise us a lot that we not asked for but we received part but we don't ask why they promise if they not going to give to the participants

Called and started the process back in early December, I asked for the housing program and dv classes. I would follow up weekly to see my spot in the programs, but I would just get the “ oh you in the waiting list” response, which I understand. Now I called and spoke with Fernanda from housing who just told me the waiting list has been closed since January. But wait, didn’t I sign up in December ? How was it closed without me knowing, when I would call weekly to ask these people. Sounds odd to me. Then the DV classes, that was a lot faster process I got my invites for the classes, FaceTime classes which I liked, but the lady Debbie stated , everyone must be Focused on the class , no interruptions must be in doors and private area. Uh okay I’m in class all I see are woman in kitchens with kids, one shopping at Ross, others in bed. I logged out, I’m a mom of 3 , the best I can do for privacy is use my ear phones and be outside with my two little ones while paying attention to both.
So my point is, I was a little disappointed in this whole Thing. I was expecting a lot more from a woman’s center. It was my first time reaching out for help but I got nothing but “ you in a closed waiting list” with no chance in hell to get in. And you need to close yourself in a room with no distractions or we can’t help you; I don’t know. Maybe they’ll see this and reach out to me. Yeah right!

The East los Angeles women center is a wonderful place to heal, grow, and stay strong, not to give up.
This organization helps women in so many ways. Brittany Marquez is a great therapist and Adelaida Ibarra is a great housing especialist she help me so much with my homeless situation, this place will help you, hope again when you feel hopeless, hurt, lost. Thanks to the women center everything is great😀 I highly recommend it.

Ive been going here for a while for parenting classes.
Ive also come to find out from one of my friends in the class said that it's a shelter for women too but i dont know any of the information about it.
If u want more information and their services that they have call their number.

The promotoras program just uses people, it’s sad cause the organization is for woman support which is awkward that they work that way
