What can I say other than I am thankful and grateful for the entire staff from the friendly warmth of the wait staff to the remarkable kindness of the administration, who I have seen on multiple times go above, and beyond the expected to provide a caring and empathetic level of service. I know it is a very difficult decision to find a place for loved ones, but if anyone would like any help in making this decision, you can reply to this text. Of course it’s not cheap, but Somerby of Mobile is a wonderful place that my parents have gotten to know as home, and they’ve made family out of staff and fellow guests. Thank you.

I can't say enough good things about Somerby Senior Living and the experience I had while my sister was there. LaDawn Moore, Executive Director, was professional but always pleasant and willing to listen to and answer any questions. She went out of her way to explain things or to research information on our behalf. Of course KaDaen is never without her winning smile, bubbly personality, and endless hugs.
All the concierge operators were welcoming every day and ready to help in any way requested. (Especially Wayne & Mandy).
My sister always praised the cook and dining room and wait staff for their patient and helpful care (and the excellent meals served).
The housekeeping personnel were efficient, personable, and respective when in her room.
I recommend Somerby Senior Living to anyone who is considering such a home for themselves or a loved one.

My wife and I Built our Garden Home at Somerby of West Mobile in 2007. We love it here and enjoy all the services and programs.
The staff is very supportive and so nice.

The residents are active and friendly. Our garden home residents enjoy all of the amenities as those in the apartments. We all get along fine and are pretty active.

The food and dining is great.

It is a beautiful place and very comfortable.

The location could not be better for health care with doctors, dentist hospital and wellness [ gym and rehab ] so close.

Although Somerby was a great place to meet different wonderful residents, my experience with working with the housekeeping department was horrible.
It always hated its best workers!
Unfortunately, the pay was not good enough for horrible treatment, and the most thing I miss about it three years later was its residents!

I’ve visited Somerby a couple of times. I was so impressed by how beautiful the facility is and how happy both the residents and staff were. They’ve built a wonderful community and the employees truly care about giving the residents the best care possible.

My mom has been at Somerby for almost 4 months. The initial move was difficult because my Mom was used to being independent but due to a major fall, and subsequent surgery, she needed assistance. Somerby was our first and only choice for my Mom's care. She is adjusting and because of the daily activities offeredshe has met and made friends with other residents. Any concerns I had about her care were discussed and addressed professionally and with tremendous care. They understand not only is this move difficult for the resident it is also hard for the family. I have recommended Somerby to my Mom's friends. We were told it takes 3 to 4 months for a resident to adjust and that is spot on. We are all adjusting and we are thankful to have a place like this for my Mom to live. The facility is beautiful and residents friendly when visiting. The staff is great in all areas. Assisted Living for my Mom is wonderful. She can participate in all activities, if she wants, in Independent Living or Assisted Living. I am truly sleeping better now that she is receiving the care she needs. The food is awesome and she's list weight by eating healthier.

We moved my mom from an Assisted Living Facility to Somerby Independent Living, and the whole experience was absolutely positive. Tom S. was wonderful in guiding us through the process and helping us to choose the apartment and services that Mom would need. We (my brother and four sisters) are all much happier with the personal space mom has now as well as the rest of the facilities available for her to enjoy.

One of the initial things that really impressed me about Somerby was how the people who work there interact with and treat each other. Everyone I have come into contact with there seems to have an easy-going yet extremely courteous camaraderie with their co-workers, evincing an underlying respect for each other that reassures me my Mom will receive the same respect and courtesy along with any assistance she may need in the future.

I have chatted with several of the residents at Somerby while moving Mom in and coming to visit, and they have all had high praise for the facility and the people who work there. Everyone seems so comfortable and cheery, it almost makes me want to move in...

I would highly recommend that anyone seeking a residential facility - for themselves or for a loved one - tour Somerby before making a decision.
