Such a beautiful church, it's a shame it's a church of woke. They preach a complete bastardization of The Gospel.
They do a lot of good for the physical needs of the community, but are rotted spiritually.
With all of it's commercial activities it houses instead of what a church is supposed to house, purely the worship of Christ, it reminds of the temple that Jesus cleansed, before he cleansed it.
I sincerely hope that this church returns to righteous and God-fearing leadership someday.

I don’t know the churches beliefs, but they are very giving and caring and it is a blessing to hundreds and hundreds of people around Mobile county. If everyone took that love that they shared with the people who are donating food to the needy, the homeless and the financially challenged then, the world would be a better place. They are truly wonderful in that department and giving is a great start. People look at doctrine and everything else, but your doctrine must have love, compassion and kindness within it love conquers all.

I went to the food pantry and was given rotten food. I mean gushy rotten food I picked up at 930 am on tuesday and threw most of it away immediately. And by today which is Thursday, threw the rest of it away. Now I know beggars can’t be choosers, but I’m not quite ready to eat out of the dumpster yet!! Big thumbs down for they’re food pantry. All I could think about was all those people in that line and getting home with rotten food. Sad.

This is the kind of church an atheist truly appreciates. They actually practice the teachings of Christ in all the best ways possible. Love, charity, & kindness and good deeds all the time. Plus they have a stellar group of artists in residence. If you're looking for a place to practice kindness for all living creatures, this is your church, even for an atheist.

This Church offers its space regularly to many types of organizations. They have a free breakfast, very filling, the first Saturday of every month at 7 a.m. I believe it is. (I've not managed to get up on Saturday that early in a long while now.) It is a free breakfast but I would always donate $5 at least. There is always a slight sermon and prayer holding hands together. And a good speaker, sometimes from all over the world. A warm friendly place to be. I do not know if the same minister is still there.

What a great force in the community Central is becoming, with their new and creative hosting, attracting so many artist-tenants, and not-for-profit community organizations & Azalea City Montessori school, in addition to regular church services and programs. Hopefully new income will bring enough to help put some reno love into this wonderful old facility and attract new Sunday regulars.
