My rebate paperwork was submitted and it's been almost a year and still no status update. I've emailed and called with the recording promising a response with in 3 days... The last email went to them October 1 and tried calling today, but voicemail takes me in circles. This is when non-profits act like regular corporations! Except in this case the only was to find some accountability is reviewing them and hope someone can direct you to some sort of reconciliation.

Archaic website with arbitrary requirements for vehicles. Certain vehicles included despite not meeting eligibility requirements and others do not and its always changing. Only way to contact them is a phone number that literally kicks you off if they are "busy". Otehrwise you sit through a 4-5 minute phone tree to not even reach anybody. All an email will get you is a generic response to check their website which does not explain anything. Giving them one extra star for being able to get a rebate three years ago.

After making me wait 6 months I finally heard back I don't qualify because I filled my paperwork a few days earlier than I was supposed to , oh and they ran out of funds for this program, thank you for letting me know this information so I could have resubmitted .

sketchy and poorly ran, don't trust them or expect anything from them, staff is NOT knowledgeable and cruel, they have dangled mythical carrots with both EVs my wife and I purchased in the last few years, I meet all there requirements but they find a way to exclude us anyway. I can only assume corruption leads to their arbitrary rule.

Also known as California Energy Center - you know them as the robocall people who call you all the time and refuse to stop harassing you. They ignore requests to get on a do not call list. They call you from fake phone numbers!

CVRP is very poorly run. According to current estimates it'll be 15 months between initial application and delivery of rebate.

Executive Director Len Hering has a big heart and is passionate about creating adult conversations around shifting to a sustainable future away from dirty energy so that he leaves the planet livable for his grandchildren. I'm grateful to have been educated by him to spread the importance of making this shift for the future of our country and planet.
