I've donated a number of times over twenty years and the process has always been easy. Recently (2024), I discovered that a vehicle that I donated and that sold in 2017 was still titled under my name. Marcus R from CARS returned my call and emailed me the information he had regarding the vehicle LATE ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON. I was extraordinarily pleased with his professionalism and willingness to assist with a snag that was suddenly and directly affecting my driving privileges. I had it worked out in a few days because of his responsiveness.

I just donated my car and the whole process could not have been easier. I called in the morning and gave all my information, then received a call that night from the towing service for multiple charities in my area - they picked my car up the next morning! The tow driver was very helpful in showing where to sign on my title. This organization is top notch and they are helping the charity of your choice!

Today was the second time I've used this company. First time was to donate my late brother's pickup truck 4 years ago to public station KUNR in Reno, NV and now today my 1996 Acura to KAZU in Monterey, CA. The first time went so well I did it again. It was well organized. I set up the donation online with the form provided. Very easy. The driver called the night before to say he'd be here at 8:30am. He got here at 8:32am. Good communication all along the way.

CARS is a wonderful, trustworthy charity. They make it easy to donate a vehicle of any type, in any condition, anywhere in the U.S. They are also a fantastic partner of other nonprofits, enabling them to raise funds through vehicle donations.

We donated our car to Kidney Cars. Everything went smoothly no problems. I always received an e mail saying if I need help with anything during and after my donation to call them for help. I also received updates all the time to keep me informed. Many years ago a we also donated our car to Kidney Cars.I would highly recomend donating your car to Kidney Cars. We did and we would again.

I had an 18yr old Subaru Outback that I needed to re-home and spent months looking for a quality organization that would benefit my charity of choice (Fisher House) - without being shady and giving the end charity the majority of profits from the sale. (I researched and double checked about 8 different "cars for charity" organizations over 3 months!)
I was VERY pleased with how professional Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS) was from the moment I first called. They answered all of my questions, assisted me in dealing with out of state DMV requirements to clear me of any liability and were constantly in contact with me - even when I lost my reservation number!
My car was picked up in late January and 28 days later was sold for more than double what local dealers were offering me. (Which means a nice tax deduction!) My tax documents arrived and I know the Fisher House will use the funds well. Thank you CARS for providing such excellent service - I'd gladly recommend your car donations services to anyone!

TERRIBLE experience with this company. If I could take back my donated car, I would. The communication was not only confusing but plain out WRONG. And this was trying to deal with the release of reliability which is critical information. Their customer service person gave me completely wrong information.

There was no communication at all about whether they picked up my car (which was 3 hours away from me) or what is being done with it.

This whole business seems entirely sketchy and unseemly. Steer clear.
