Poor, poor bedside manner! He is a burn out that needs to retire. I was in the room for 7 min while he sat smacking on a sandwich. He said webmd lead you here? No my GP referred me to you. No test, no follow up. He said you’re too young to have those issues, I responded but I am having those issues….end of discussion. Asked around for a good urologist in Norman and Dr. Cochrans name came up several times (in same group). I scheduled an appointment with him. Staff said Dakil needs to approve/release since he has already seen me. A week later I call back and they said Dakil wont “let” me see another doctor in the group! Final conclusion ego, poor bed side, no service….STAY AWAY FROM NORMAN UROLOGY TOXIC ENVIRONMENT.

Made my appointment well in advance. Had all record's sent in advance.
I am a 100% Disabled War Veteran, so all my medicals needs are paid. I live over an hour and a half from Dr. Dakil's office in Norman, OK.
Arrived 20 minutes early for appointment. Staff member met me in the hallway, checked my temp., and put me in the waiting room, where I sat for over an hour and a half, never addressing my presence again. I watched 25+ patients, walk-ins, go in before me. Many had to fill out paperwork, so we knew they were new patients. Counting my travel time, and time there, I wasted 4.5 hours. My time is just as important and valuable as Doctor Dakil's. I was needing a procedure and finally left without seeing anyone.
The problem is, Dr. Dakil had too many patients scheduled for one day.
I never got the time or pleasure to meet him. I told the Receptionist before leaving to tell Dr. Dakil, that I had waited too long and left.

Would give a negative Star review if possible. Worst bedside manner my husband & I have ever seen. Very snarky & rude remarks for no reason. Asked to switch to a different Dr. within the group & was denied so going elsewhere. Also was handed the wrong person’s printout when checking out. Thankfully I caught it before we left.

It was was great pleasure to meet Dr. Dakil. Our meeting went very well.He was very professional in all we discussed and in examination procedures he administered to me. He thoroughly explained and answered all my questions.Iam very pleased for the opportunity to have him as my doctor.

Exam room dirty. Waited in exam room with no contact for over an hour. They could not run any tests to analize the bacteria in my urine sample. Rude, Loud, Pushy. I was treated with great disrespect. Will not be back!
