It was a great experience for my husband...this was a first for him. He's almost 70 and a Stockton native. My granddaughter was a part of 1 of the comedy groups. She resides in New York and so seeing her perform in SF was a great..Old building but a clean building. Ghost Girls was who she performed with...Uncle Kevin and Uncle Maurice

Best place in the bay area to see locally produced, one-person shows. Tiny theater space, but that means every seat is really close to the performer. I've seen some really awesome comedic riffs, autobiographical works, totally fictitious self-help lectures, bubble shows, and more here, all for the same price (or less) than a film at a megaplex.

Some of the best shows I've seen there in the past couple years:
- Steve Seabrook's "Better Than You"
- Nantucket (the opening of the 2nd act is so shocking we all gasped!)
- Acid Test: The Many Incarnations of Ram Dass (the actor was
- Jeff Greenwald's Travelers' Tales

But don't take my word for it... judge for yourself!

Tip: There is a Marsh Theater in Berkeley too, right by BART. If you miss a show at one location, you can often catch it at the other location if it hasn't already been there!

Be quick! Only 4 more Dan Reed shows at The Marsh as I'm writing this. Go experience his expert blend of comedy, dance, and tragedy. If you miss him in SF, catch him in Berkeley.
