Went here for the first time today. My experience there was good, better than what i imagined. The reviews kinda made it sound like an unwelcoming place but I believe trying to get help than no help is better than nothing, and I was happily surprised by how considerate they were and straight to the point it was, got there 10 minutes early, they gave me a fillout sheet that could be filled out in all languages, then after i did everything, progress was made very fast, got my next appointment and I'm excited to see that I'm making progress and they're making progress with me. I'll keep you updated if it gets worse or better for sure. But now, that's all I think 🤔. Feel free to like my latest post, tho on my insta! @jthdrawings 😊 I included some fun drawings I did there when I was there

I have noticed great experiences with Merced county BHRS, the staff are amazing and work hard and go above and beyond to best help their clients, and the supervisors are amazing as well there are some things I would like to point out that could be better though,

Communication could be better, especially when clients are checking in for appointments sometimes clients are waiting for a while and not being seen and they become agitated or frustrated because they have been waiting a while, it would be beneficial if clients were told by staff that their provider is busy or running late so clients are aware, I definitely understand that sometimes a crisis/emergency may come up,

I strongly believe that staff could be more kind, respectful and considerate to clients I get that we all have bad days but I do believe that the they way mental health providers treat clients could be better.

I look forward to the future when more mental health providers are hired thank you mental health for doing your very best to help the clients keep up the good work 🙂

We all are a work in progress including the mental health providers, We can all do better together. 🙂 nobody is perfect that's for sure mental health is amazing there's just a few things that could be worked on for Mental health providers to do more better there's always room for more improvements

If it's not medical records, the receptionist, security guard, staff as well as billing.... no one gives a damn and depending on who you are dealing with.... " they demonstrate the don't give a damn with a side of b.s. attitude." Billing - she's lazy and expects you to provide updated information and she's never pleasant and like to avoid you. Security guard likes to instigate and makes matters worse. Receptionist station... states "it's not their job." Medical records let's just say it's all who you are talking to to get some cooperation. The doctors depends on who you are working with have attitude. If there are issues involving your case and depends on who you are dealing with treat you less as a person... oh and the phones ring for 14 rings or more with an answer or without an answer.... yup!

The list goes on....

Meditation/awareness is not pointed at here it seems, most the mental illness/drug addiction, etc if not all comes from "Ego" or materialist/physycalist conditioning most of the world suffers from.
The psychiatric medications don't help much instead look into various "non-duality" meditation pointers, psychdelics and evidence based therapy but please do your research. It is work and nobody is here to do your work but you. Recommend a book "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie but there are many pointers as there are grains of sands in the universe,

Another understaffed ineffective mental health clinic. They'll meet the basic requirements of care to avoid legal liability. You're getting the bare minimum, bottom of the barrel, compassionate-free mental health care. If you or your loved ones want a fighting chance of recovery, go literally anywhere else.

I stopped thinking of going therapy after i read the book "Shortcut through therapy" by Richard Carlson. It saved some money.i read lots of books to heal myself without any counselling i think it works.i became a positive person instead of negative "The Secret" helps a lot too.

Major issues with all of Merced county. Especially regarding mental health.

Issue #1: Lack of Coordination Between Services

Issue #2: Fragmented Care

Issue #3: Lack of Interoperability

Start here guys. Start with these. Oh and please…please do more for the families who give themselves tirelessly to see their loved ones survive and pray to one day see them flourish…please be there for them. Most of us didn’t choose this. And some of us are holding on by the same strand as our loved ones. Don’t forget about us.

Reception would never let my therapist know I was there and he'd come looking for me at the lobby 20 min after my appointment and he'd tell me he thought I didn't show up because they never told him I checked in. This happened more than a few times I finally decided to quit this facility and go back to my clinic. I filled out all the paperwork to quit properly but I still got a call from the secretary of my therapist and I let him know again that I would no longer be going there and my therapist still called me that I had missed my appointment! I don't blame the doctors or nurses at all they were always really nice but the staff always had a stank face and apparently aren't doing there job. Everytime I went there they just talked to whoever came up to them instead of doing their job. I haven't been there in over a month and now my new counselor is calling me that I can't have 2 counselors meaning they still haven't taken me out of e system. Y'all need to higher a new staff!!!! This is ridiculous 🤬
