Great alternative to a hotel or spa for the adventure driven. The 28 foot airstream was in great shape and very accommodating for three of us. Nice outdoor seating to mingle with others at the Outpost. Parking sufficed just outside of the entrance and everything seemed very safe and secure for the visit. Walking distance to plenty in Ojai. I'd recommend this to anybody looking to enjoy life a little outside of the norm.

A fantastic experience! My first visit to both Ojai and Caravan Outpost and neither will be my last. Stayed in the tiny house and it was absolutely perfect. My only regret was that I didn't have more time to spend there. Heads up (haha) that the loft has a very low ceiling, but my 6' son managed just fine. I have some anxiety around travel, and the top-notch and proactive communication from Leilani and the team put all of that to rest. (Thank you. ❤️)

I can't wait to return and am already pondering which friends I will invite along!

We booked 2 nights here following a recommendation on Instagram. It really did not disappoint. Coming from the UK on a road trip with our kids, we loved this stopover - we stayed in 'Julien' - one of the tiny houses, which actually was roomy for four of us. Absolutely loved the styling of the whole set up and beds were really comfy. Being able to just hop on the bikes when we needed was perfect. We explored Ojai and enjoyed eating in the restaurants and coffee house. Staff were responsive and friendly. It's a unique setting, and felt like camping but more comfortable. ||My only negative comment is that there were no kitchen supplies. This was clearly communicated beforehand, but there was a fully functional kitchen but no bowls, mugs, cutlery. As we were travelling, we had to buy disposable which seemed a pity given the cost of the nightly stay. ||All in all though, we loved our stay and so glad we came. We will recommend to others!

We recently spent two nights in Ojai at Caravan Outpost, and absolutely loved every minute. |The communications coming from them was fantastic. We were texted when our trailer was ready with instructions on which trailer was ours, how to get in to the trailer and phone numbers to contact if we needed anything at all.||We arrived, parked on the street, and quickly found our beautiful airstream trailer tucked in some trees with a table and two chairs with an umbrella out front. We settled in and walked the grounds. Everything was spotlessly clean, there are games, cornhole and chairs out in the middle of the common area. There are bicycles with helmets available to guests and the bathrooms and shower rooms for guests too were spotlessly clean. Mr. B used the shower rooms as our shower in the trailer was to short for him. He said they were so clean and had everything he needed. Being short, I was able to use the shower in our trailer.||Now to the trailer, so fun! It was clean, everything was well taken care of. On the dining table was a retro record player with some vinyl to enjoy. The bathroom had everything we needed and the bedroom was cozy and the bed so comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and we were more than comfortable in the trailer.||Leilani, the camp host isn't on site all the time, we saw her both mornings and she was so friendly as was all the staff when on site. Leilani offered recommendations of things to do and places to eat.||We had a ball, and loved every minute of our resort camping experience.| |Parking is on the street and never had a problem getting parking. We would absolutely stay again when in the area. Located on a side street in Ojai and easy to walk into town. We walked the bike path one evening to get dinner, and walked back through town, even stopping a few doors down at a Brewery and Winery to have an after dinner drink before turning in for the night.

This place is a slice of heaven and Leilani is fantastic. We came up here from LA to try out the airstreams and decompress in Ojai. Amazing trip, everything was self service so we were able to arrive and get set on our own time and had clear instructions and access to everything. This is definitely a niche type of experience so I wouldn’t go in expecting a 5 star hotel — its meant to be unique and cozy! If you like small spaces and the aesthetics and comforts of living tiny this is the perfect place to either try it out or get a bite sized trip in here and there since buying an RV on its own is a bit of a leap lol. Super clean, super quiet, super convenient and genuinely my new go to paradise to get away from it all. Leilani even helped out after we were long gone — I wanted to know a name of one of the records in one unit and she got back to me with the answer ♥️

We have experience staying at properties such as Caravan Outpost so I was excited for our stay in Ojai. We reserved the Tiny House and two additional caravans for our family. The accommodations are as represented. I was a tad disappointed that the caravans are identical in interiors. It’s fun to experience subtle differences in designs, but that is not the case here. Also disappointing was the lack of basic amenities such as tissue (Kleenex) and toilet paper that is not painful to use. Drinking glasses and perhaps a wine glass or two would have been nice. Not sure what you are expected to do when you want a glass of water. Leilani was great and got us a few plastic solo cups. The property is lovely to spend time in sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, not drinking it out of a paper or plastic cup. It seems this property is hanging on to COVID as an excuse to not go back to offering proper amenities which is what I expect in paying for a high end stay at a hotel. There was certainly plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere!! Those days are thankfully over. It’s okay to offer glassware!! Apparently they did prior to COVID. Now it is just convenient to keep those items in storage and not have to deal with cleaning glasses. Not sure I would go back. It’s expensive enough as it is without having to go buy glassware and a spoon to eat cereal with from a solo cup. That’s just not okay. This property should do better.
