This is where my now deceased sister resided. I don't recommend anyone living here unless you are near being homeless. When she died they OVER CHARGED clean up costs, replacing porch lights - $3.50 per bulb that were in working order the night before we returned the keys, she paid her rent on the 1st in full and died the 6th. Her clean up charges and move out charges were more than the rent and there was no refund (I'm sure that was done purposefully). My sister was a clean person, not a slob. She lived there from 1994 to her death in 2012. The director of this establishment is rude and an unsympathetic person. After the running of my sister's obituary, during her viewing (on a Sunday) she put the secretary up to calling my mother to see when we would have her apartment cleaned out (just 3 days after her death) - that is VERY tacky. I have heard numerous other complaints from tenants regarding privacy and monthly inspections of your apartment. You are not permitted to have visitors overnight. Maintenance workers come in as they please, etc., and even though they are low-income based they will reject individuals in need of assistance if they have anything on their credit regarding owing another landlord. This was told to me by someone that applied there in November. No stars here.

I moved here in Dec. 2014. I can say I truly love it here. It's quiet, peaceful and well maintained. Coming from out-of-state, I can appreciate the tough rules for a reason. I don't care for noise or people hanging out. I have lived places where anything goes and I am so grateful they don't tolerate foolishness and nonsense here. If you follow the rules they have in place you will have no problems. As far as guest, they tell you in the paperwork you sign what is and is not acceptable. If you don't follow the rules than it is simple you face the necessary consequences. If you are the kind of person who is rowdy, having parties all night, constant flow of traffic in and out your apartment, then this is not the place for you.
