This boat trip is a must. Fabulously friendly staff and guide was extremely knowledgeable about all the areas along the trip. Being November it was very cold but the ship has indoor seating and plenty of it. It is heated so you won’t feel cold and you can also purchase light snacks and drinks at a very reasonable price. The ship itself was originally a steam ship but is now converted but still holds all the elegance of times gone by. There is plenty of space for stepping out onto the decks for taking those photo opportunities to make your own memories. The round trip was 2 1/2 hours but there is an option to get off on one of the many islands so you can explore (3hours). The ship will pick you back up on its return trip. Toilets on board were very clean. All in all a great trip to go on.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful and although roundtrip could be only a few hours long, but they go above and beyond so you enjoy the trip.
The food was prepared with care and I really liked the whole menu. The Crème Brûlée dessert had a pretty unique taste with the honey sauce.
Highly recommend their service, particularly I think it's a good idea if you wanna have a casual dinner with your business partners without breaking a bank.

We enjoyed an exceptional tour and lunch on the M/S Östanå, sailing towards Vaxholm through the archipelagos while listening to historical narratives and taking in breathtaking views. My husband and I highly recommend this excursion.

We took a lunch cruise. I was magnificently enjoying the time. Since it was a ship I did not have high expectations of the food. Boy was I wrong we all had the vegetarian option and I was blown away. Fantastic. Charming quirky staff made it all the more enjoyable. The ship was built in 1906 and is 35 meters long . Boom

I took a boat cruise with dinner for group of people at the end of April. The boat itself looked nice and clean. It was interesting to see Stockholm and its surroundings from water. The dinner itself wasn't anything special, actually it really surprised me that the salmon meal I ordered was good but cold, but it was explained to me that it is typical for this kind of meal in Sweden, so I was OK with it. Even though everything seemed kind of good, I was very upset at the beginning when I was forced to take off my light jacket when entering the boat, I felt really cold because of windy weather and needed to warm myself up a bit, but the man at the entrance wouldn't let me in even though I explained I feel cold. Such a horrible behaviour towards a customer.

I was lucky enough to book a ride on The Ostana I over a very busy Easter weekend where a lot of Stromma boats rides were quickly getting booked.

The packaged booked was a dine in lunch and a boat ride all the way out to Vaxholme.

The staff were great, really like the tour speaker who had great things to say about the sights we visited and who was quite hilarious. I had a good chuckle.

Lunch was great and i throuroughly enjoyed and finished with an equally great desert. 10/10 to the Thai/Swedish waitress who seemed to have everything well organised, who was attentive as well as being courteous.

I honestly reccomend booking a ride on this ship, it is relaxing and you get to see so much of Stockholm you otherwise would not have seen. A must for all visitors, the experience was one of the many highlights of Stockholm.

I do not understand the negative reviews. The staff are wonderful and the food is, too. However, we had a table booked. Due to ice, we didn't go too far out into the skärgarden.

Took a very pleasant round trip to Vaxholm via the archipelago in July 2020. The guide was in English and Swedish with lots of historical facts. The boat is beautiful with lots of brass and wood surfaces and chugs along slowly which is great if you are looking for a relaxing boat ride in Stockholm. There is a cafe serving coffee and snacks as well as a sit down restaurant on board that was serving lunch when I visited.
