What an amazing Christmas vacation. We had five families stay at village treehouses 1 and 2. Multiple teenagers and adults. The units were large w ample seating and kitchen space. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic and David and Jacob were totally accommodating. The check in instructions were fantastic and the drop off and ski lockers were perfect. Not to discount you are a 100 feet from the gondola to canyon lodge and the village with a ton of restaurants, shopping and stores. We could walk to dinner in a minute and come back for poker night. Also an outdoor bbq at each place made dinner prep for our large group really easy. There is a ski rental place right in the village which was perfect and easy. Would definitely come back. Encourage anyone who is looking for an easy vacation in mammoth, with access to everything to book treehouse 1 and 2 or either one of you have a smaller group.

Also, forgot to mention. Each level has an elevator so you don’t have to carry your luggage up stairs. Huge benefit. And to top it off my son left his wallet there and David mailed it back to me!

Dave is a wonderful host and extremely professional. Everything is as advertised, but the personal attention to detail is superb. The parking in the adjacent garage for multiple vehicles with assigned parking and heated driveway, the elevator in the building, and the location next to the Village and gondola all are worth the rental price of the home, and on-site manager Dan is extremely responsive and helpful. This was our second vacation at the Treehouse, and we definitely will return.

The ideal Mammoth stay

This was a wonderful stay! The location is ideal, the property was appealing and luxurious with every amenity we could have wanted, and all was in good condition/order when we arrived, clean and ready to go, no hassles. By far the nicest and best located property we've stayed at in Mammoth (this now our fourth visit to the area). You can absolutely believe and trust in the listing for the property (amenities etc), what you see there is exactly what you get!

What further sets Treehouse 2 apart are the owners, Dave and Jacob Margolin. They were clear, helpful, and responsive from the time of booking, and provided by far the most complete and easy to follow check in, parking, usage, and check out instructions I've ever seen with a property rental. No gaps, no unanswered questions or surprises - it was all there, and the attention to detail and resulting smoothness of the process made an already fabulous experience that much better. Dave and Jacob clearly want customers to have a great time and be satisfied, as was exemplified by their checking in with us by text shortly before arrival and encouraging us to reach out with any needs or questions (we had none, but it was so nice to know they cared and would have been ready to help if we had!), and then following up with us the day of checkout to ask how things went. This is a level of customer service that is sadly rare nowadays and is a beautiful thing to experience.

We hope to visit Mammoth again in the future and would absolutely seek out the Treehouse property again. Highly and unequivocally recommended!

We really loved our stay in the condos. Dave and Jacob were amazing at communicating promptly and were so helpful…especially with the roads being closed and enormous amounts of snow! They let us stay an extra night to make up for our first missed night. The units were clean and well stocked. The location is perfect for skiers! We can’t wait to come back to Mammoth and stay here again!

We rented both Treehouse I and II for our annual Mammoth ski trip. We are a group of 6 families with kids aging from age 1.5-7 yo. These units would be good for groups of all ages because of the setup/location.
The condos were absolutely perfect. Dave, as a host, was always quick to respond with any questions. Dave was very accommodating on the day of our checkin, trying to get us in the condo as early as possible, and assisting us with extra parking spots. To have underground parking during winter weather was a huge bonus.
During our stay the townhomes were so well stocked and in impeccable condition that there was never any need to reach out to Dave. The bedrooms downstairs were very spacious, and even the upstairs loft/bedroom was a good size. The units were down the hall from one another, so it was easy to spend time as a group.
The location cannot be beat. It was a very easy walk to/from the village which made it very simple to access the slopes for first runs or the occasional afternoon meetup. And shuttle stops in every direction we’re easily accessible, so there was no need for driving.
Overall this was one of our best trips so far, and we truly have only good things about the entire experience. We would definitely highly recommend the unit

The Treehouse-ii Rental was an incredible stay. It was a beautiful home with everything available that we could need for a weekend slopes getaway. Dave and Jacob were excellent and responsive hosts, and the management team at Fireside was very helpful as well. The location is perfectly located for reaching the gondola to Mammoth or going out for dinner at night.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Village Treehouse 1! We were three families, with kids ranging from 6-13, and stayed for 4 nights. The location was ideal for us, being minutes away from the gondola, as the older kids would want to stay longer on the slopes, the younger kids would want to come back and play, and everyone could go up and down the mountain with ease. There was plenty of room for three families to spread out. We cooked together nightly and found the kitchen to be well-stocked and easy to use. Only one issue came up for us during our stay - a smoke alarm was running low on battery and started beeping. The owners were easy to reach by text and extremely responsive - the building manager came quickly and replaced the battery. Everyone used the hot tub and pool nightly and loved it. Thank you - we cannot wait to be back!

LOCATION is unbeatable! Just steps from the lift, the gondola, and all the shops and restaurants. Great interior finishes. Lots of natural light. We were stoked to have our car parked in a secure, indoor garage. The elevator is nice for moving heavy luggage. The layout is very conducive for larger gatherings and the bedroom areas are great for family units to group up. The spa tub was fun. We never used the pool or the big spa in the building next door, but I imagine we will next time!
