Went in to adopt a puppy, staff told us that we had to bring in our other dog to meet the puppy before we can adopt. Drove our dog from Arroyo Grande back just for them to adopt the dog out in the time it took to come back. Staff could’ve been more informative or kinder, super bummed on service. Owner also does not read reviews or hold staff accountable for their own faults. Horrible service before and after visit, managers do not even know their own policies nor actual age of the animal being adopted. Just go to a local shelter instead of this cash grab organization.

Friendly staff! Wonderful diverse pet selection. Warmth and love fills the walls of this place. I met a wonderful distinguished American Bully named Kukor and a talented young employee Max. What an amazing and patient group of people who truly love and care for the animals. I adopted from here and was blown away when I returned three months later and one of the staff members remembered my dogs name from across the yard! You just dont get that kind of attention at some of these other shelters. It NEVER stinks in there and I do not believe in the several times I have been there that there was even an accident on the floor. An amazing facility and I will be back!

The staff didn't seem super knowledgeable. One dude was so standoffish and lacked communication skills. Do your due diligence in asking questions, because the dog I adopted has had health issues that weren't disclosed. Also, dont use the Metlife insurance they recommend, it has sucked so far.
