I recently adopted a lovely kitty from this shelter. While I love our new addition to our family, I am very disappointed to find that she has fleas and worms. I am going to have to get her and my other cat treated for both now. My other cat has been an inside cat her entire life and has never been exposed to either, so it is unfortunate. It’ll be an additional cost for both of them that I wasn’t expecting right off the bat. Not to mention, just gross. On her paperwork it says she was given Frontline at the shelter, not sure what happened here. I’d imagine most, if not all of the cats there are also infected. Something to look out for if you’re planning to adopt here.

We adopted our sweetheart kitty Poppy in 2023. She has been the best companion for us and our older cat. She is unusually chill for an orange youngster.

The adoption process was quick and easy. The fees are reasonable considering you get a fully vetted cat. We’ve gone back on occasion just to pet and donate.

I brought up two kitten foundlings. Once they had all their immunizations, spay & neuter, and socialization, I brought them to Woods to adopt our because I didn’t want to deal with that part of it. Both kittens were adopted in 48 hours!

They spayed my FIVE cats here for 1/8 the cost at a veterinarian.

Sometimes there's quite a long waiting period, but it's worth the wait.

The staff is extremely efficient and professional. No chit-chat, and follow their rules to the letter.

I was very very happy with this Humane Society.

Such a pleasant place. The cats are all together in a huge space. The staff is amazing. I would strongly suggest adopting a kitty from here. My son and his girlfriend got 2.

Super kind n caring. They work w you to get your cats seen n cared for. They offer low cost pet services like spay/neuter but also rabies vac, microchipping, nail trims, n other vaccines that cats need. They treat your lil baby house cat or the feral you trapped that looks sick. They just want to help in any way they can!

I had a great experience finding my forever friend with woods humane society. The woman that helped us out was very knowledgeable and did an awesome job introducing us to all the cats that fit what I was looking for. I ended up sitting outside and a cat from hiding came out and jumped on my lap. I knew she was the one, and she most definitely still is. At first my cat was a little shy, but now she demands attention and won’t stop meowing until she gets that. She’s most definitely a princess.

Yesterday was amazing! My dad has Alzheimers. The minute he sat down Shay a 7 year old female cat jumped on his lap and never left. Shay found a forever home❤
