My wife & I stopped by on a Tuesday morning to get information about giving a donation but were treated with disregard and threatened by 2 unleashed dogs including a Rottweiler who approached closely to us both while growling & barking. The shirtless attendent, while sitting in the doorway in a lawn chair, did not even get up or seem concerned and told us not to come on the property if the dogs bothered us. I understand that this food pantry is an act of goodwill to the community but we will certainly NOT RETURN. Too bad.

As a disabled USAF vet, I went to ALF whose staff helped me and all others. No nosy interrogations, just kindness and smiles to keep people of all walks alive. I'm with broken femur... incapacitated, totally and permanently disabled. PLEASE DONATE TO THIS ORGANIZATION BECAUSE THEY'RE REAL DEAL.

The people here are very helpful and polite they gave me a list of resources for other places if needed. I came here with a friend and I didn't have much of a wait I don't know if it was because of the time of day this was my 1st time I've been here as well that said I wasn't here for more than 20min .

Atascadero Loaves and Fishes is an awesome Place they've been helping a lot of people in Atascadero and surrounding areas. I suggest everybody that can donate to them to help other families that are in need. And if you are in need I suggest you go check them out. You can only go twice a month but they do give you a lot of stuff that you can really use. Thank you Atascadero Loaves and Fishes and keep up the good work.

P.S. they are also in search of a nother building if you know of any places that are for rent in Atascadero that they might be able to afford that has a decent-size parking lot please let them know. Thank you and have a great day.
