I realized I had some canned food that I had not touched for a couple of months, so I decided to donate to people who need.
I found this community service center in Sunnyvale. It is convenient, and the process of donating is very easy. I read their website and realized that there is so much we can donate our food and our time to help the needy. Thank you to all the volunteers for making this service possible.

The staff here are very unprofessional, since seeking services for my self and my son due to homelessness and my son having a disability, i have been lied to, the director roshaunda completely disrespected me, she even hung up in my face when i was voicing my concerns of not being assisted after i was told i was given false information from a case worker that has not gotten back to me after several voicemails and messages sent from the front office. the front desk attend no longer picks up the phone when i call and just this morning, she picked up and hung up the phone. totally unprofessional, racist and not concerned about the well being of the community as they state they are. they're very selective with who they decide to provide assistance to! i seriously wish i could rate they entire center and the employees there 0 stars. sunnyvale community services center, their director, manager and front desk rep really let me and my son down! oh and don't me forget to mention how disrespectful and unprofession sandra rosales is as well! my case worker wendy too! i don't see how you women sleep at night just to wake up the next morning, go to work to sit there, hang up in clients faces and claim that i disrespected you, so now i'm no longer being helped with my son!! that's very shameful and i cant wait until things change around within that building! i'm a professional myself, and i have a wonderful job to help others, ive encountered upset or disgrunteld members that feel as though thwy arent receiving proper assistance, i never take it personal, as i shouldnt because it's a job/career we're talking about! ive never hung up on a member or even dared argue with them!! i never threatened anyone i'm simply upset because ive been getting the run around and have been overlooked as a single mother that needs assistance with her child! its fine thiugh because when stuff like this happens, theres always a silver lining, and i know god will bless me through my struggles! i just really thought i was reaching out to the right place to help!

I will be filing a program discrimination complaint as well!

A great place to obtain resources especially for families in need. I stop by at least once or twice a week and want to give kudos to those who always help me which include but are not limited to: Carlos, Chris, Cody, Terri, amd others who are always very kind and compassionate and go out of their way to provide the essentials for families day in and day out. They're all doing amazing work on there. God bless them all.
