Fusion has some serious struggles for a youth sports organization. Game scheduling, field management, and referee training are all done poorly. Volunteer coaches require no soccer experience, resulting in some ultra aggressive teams causing facial injuries from constant elbowing and shoving. This is U7 girls soccer here, not the risk my daughter signed up for. I've never seen a referee call a foul on aggression in 5 years despite plenty of opportunities, and several of them officiate by an unwritten set of offsides rules that deviate from what Fusion has done a good job of clearly writing out.

Unfortunately since I place my daughter in this club, most of the games and practices are canceled. Who or where this $450 + money goes to? I think it’s ripoff.

Honestly, this is not even a recreational league. All the parents pay.. and it’s practically just for a ball, it’s all the parents doing all the work and volunteering, not sure what we even are paying for? they don’t even provide the fields/goals to practice. no refs, no coach’s, no jerseys, no time put into anything. even if you ask a question they don’t even get back to you….very sad.

My 3 kids (2 girls, 1 boy) all played soccer with Fusion. One daughter has continued and is now playing for the U18 Girls Premier team, ranked 12th in the nation. She has secured a scholarship to a CSU.

Our experience has been a fantastic one. This is 99% a volunteer organization, and the club has over 2600 members. The spirit is one of development, character, and celebration. I appreciate the challenges of running such a large enterprise, and feel that it is being well done. My daughter is very passionate about playing, and has developed integrity and sportsmanship within the game.

I'd recommend this club to anyone.

Played against this team where players shove and push opponent team players even at under 8 level. Not sure what or how they coach but that is not how you coach a team. Looks the u8 players are playing rugby or American football or wresting instead of soccer. They play dirty and it’s like a street fight. Zero respect for the game and players.

I have been trying to get my kid Join Fusion for past 9 months at least and they always keep telling me to come back after three months. Not sure why they are doing this. Is it really that difficult to get into fusion?
