I love this church! We are a military family that has been to a lot of churches and this one is special. We always give a church 3 weeks when we first visit, and and every week the message was convicting but gracious, loving but firm truth. The worship is fun and passionate, our kids love kids church, and youth group has helped my unpredictably moody teen make friends and look forward to going to church.

The staff are godly men and women who desire to see God change lives. This is a building full of sinners knowing they need Jesus and it’s beautiful. The head pastor preaches the Bible. If you aren’t comfortable hearing truth then this church isn’t for you. They do not stray from hard issues, they let God speak through his word. They have opportunities to serve in the church and in the local community. It is a larger church but there are many ways to connect in small groups and find your church family. This church is a true gem I found through my daughter! I was traveling 30 minutes to another church and took a chance on going to this one, since it’s much closer to home. They are so inviting, loving, intentional and compassionate. The pastor is extremely knowledgeable, witty, and an eloquent speaker. At the same time he is easy to understand & very humble. Everyone I’ve ever heard preach at this church knocks it out of the park! They are all walking in their purpose and exuding God’s love. They also went out of their way to welcome us with cookies, coffee & a call. I did have questions since my denomination was a little different before & they were more than happy to answer them. We now call this church home & have learned so much about Jesus Christ!

We moved to Lemoore about 7 months ago and this was the first church we tried out and fell in love with it our first Sunday. Everyone is so welcoming and every Sunday message is spot on! Happy to call South Valley our church home!

The kids programs are top notch! Our kid loves going to Sunday school and playing with her friends!

First and last time going to this church. It hurts me that this church has so much potential to be great for God’s kingdom. However the church struggles with closet and secret sin, like trying to be accepting by the world, preaching the prosperity gospel, preaching agenda messages, being tolerant towards sin and homosexuality. It’s also a shame that there was no alter call to repent of sin. This church needs to do better.

As someone who’s traveled the wide and long pathway of the Church, I’ve experienced nearly every denomination, congregation, style, and size of church in my life. Let me tell you that every church will have things you love and things you wrestle with. So whatever you choose to see and focus on, that’ll shape your perspective.

We are a former military family who came to Lemoore but then stayed in Lemoore for SV Church. The New Testament church is one that teaches the gospel, shares from the scripture, worships together, prays together, lives in community, reaches into the outer community, and grows in their faith together, through the mountain tops and valleys. SV does do all of that. Sometimes you’re not gonna like what scripture says. Sometimes you’re not gonna love your brand of sin being highlighted. Sometimes you’re not gonna love the conviction that the spirit brings into your heart. But that’s what it is to walk with Jesus. You confront the good the bad and the ugly and if you’re lucky enough you do it in a community of people who have the same heart for Jesus as you. Take it from someone who’s church hopped, who’s wandered the wilderness, and who has walked the path home - SV is a place you can learn, grow, and love with other believers. ❤️

I love south valley church! Been part of this wonderful church for 12 years and it blows my mind to see such a nasty review about discrimination! My daughter grew up in this church and so did my nieces and nephews and we have never experienced or witnessed any bullying. This is such a giving church especially when it comes to children.

I thank God for Pastor Ricky and his wife and the team who make it possible for us to be able to come to a safe church filled with Jesus love and GREAT TEACHING!
