Was driving on the far side of Portland when one of my tires went out, they were old and desperately needed to be replaced.

With it being the weekend and me needing to get back out on the road the next morning S&S was basically my only option. When I arrived the service was generally friendly, but quickly became dismissive of me. I know little to nothing about tires, and they were very condescending toward me, like sharks when they sense blood in the water. I needed to talk finances with my significant other before making any decisions but they took my car in anyway and became extraordinarily impatient while we were trying to decide what to do. When I was given the initial quote I was told $170 for 4 tires which I assumed was a misspeak, however, when I repeated the number to the gentleman he didn’t correct me. Regardless I still figured he actually meant $270 which in fact turned out to be the case. But they didn’t communicate this with with EACH OTHER and left it to me to tell them what I was quoted which made me feel like I was being led on. The cash out process was fine with some unfortunate bank hiccups but nothing more to say there.

Fast forward two days to this morning,(I didn’t drive yesterday so this went unnoticed for a whole day) and I go out to check my mail and see that one of my “ excellent condition tires” is now flat, two days after I bought it and I’m left to figure out how I can get my vehicle in a condition where I can safely return to them and have this issue fixed. I expected more form a business with such high reviews.

We were out of town traveling, low and behold we got a low tire alert. We googled the area and saw the reviews and gave this a shot. Glad we did! They found the problem with the TPMS in a seal on the stem. 15 minutes later and $30 it was fixed. Tire is all good now and we are back on the road. Good people to work with and very friendly.

I’ve been hesitant to review this place because I really didn’t want to expose this hidden gem.
I’ve been regularly buying all of my tires from these guys for years, and I have a lot of rigs so I buy a lot of tires.
Firstly: no appointment needed, show up. Tell these guys what you want and they’ll show you what they have on hand. No paperwork, no run around or trying to sell you on extended warranties or tell you your car needs extras.
JUST TIRES. I don’t think I’ve ever even stepped foot in their office. Never needed to. I pay cash and they set me up with a nice set of tires for nearly half. HALF the price of the major tire vendors. No joke. I’ve never purchased less expensive great tires in my life. These are name brand tires. They don’t keep a huge inventory so if they have a set for your car that you want. They could get sold if you don’t buy them.
You tell them what you want, they’ll show you what they have. It’s simple and easy.
They mount and balance the tires at no extra charge and install them immediately right in front of you. No gimmicks, no bs, no wasted time or money.
I will not purchase tires anywhere else and I have never had any issue of any kind with them.
As much as I would like to keep this place a secret; they deserve the attention and acknowledgement.

These guys are the best! A long time veteran of Les Schwab owns this tire shop and he and his guys work fast and affordable! I will bring all my cars here and I recommend all my friends do as well!! Awesome job guys! Also they take tires for $5!! I love these guys!

This place was so kind and so helpful in a time of desperate need I needed help and they even worked throughout their lunch break to help me fix Tire issue. My tire had a special lock on the wheel so we could not be replaced or removed and they fixed it with no problem. I am so happy that they were open on Sunday when majority of tire shops around were closed. thank you so much!!!!!

Great service! Fast service! Great prices! It can be busy sometimes so patience is important. It helps if you speak Spanish and know something about the tires you want.
