I’m saddened to hear about the negative experiences other parents have had with Catalight Care Services, but I want to share that the support my child and family have received has been nothing short of incredible.

The clinical team is made up of truly professional and compassionate individuals who go above and beyond to ensure their clients' well-being. The care and attention we've experienced have been outstanding, and I am deeply appreciative of the impact they’ve had on our family.

Despite what I am reading, it's so unfortunate that others have had bad experiences. We have had a fast turn around with clarifying questions and concerns and the experience has been great for us so far. Not sure if it's because my son received services before the many changes I hear Catalight & Kaiser have implemented since 2023.

We're very happy with how things are going!

My child has been a client of Catalight since being diagnosed with autism. The team has been very professional and supportive since we started using their services. I highly recommend their organization and look forward to continuing our relationship.

We truly achieved all of our child's set goals. My little one is a social kid that loves to sing karaoke songs and gained so much self esteem with the ABA team from ALP. I recommend this company, I felt they listened to all of our services requests. We are going to miss them but my kid successfully graduated and has more to achieve. Thank you ALP! You were awesome.

My child receives ABA therapy, and my insurance works with Catalight. Catalight connected us with Circle ABA. After our insurance changed and we had to pay for services out of pocket, we discovered that Circle ABA was overcharging us by at least 50%. For a one-hour telehealth session via Zoom, they had the audacity to charge us $1,200 for a parent coaching session. We disputed this with our insurance, and the entire process took six months for them to admit fault and correct the bill. I spent countless hours fighting the overcharges. It was stress I didn’t deserve! I spoke with many people at Catalight, most of whom just told me to pay up without investigating the charges, saying the bill looked correct. Finally, after seven months of tears, pain, and suffering from constantly being transferred and trying to reach anyone helpful, they admitted I was being overcharged!

However, during the dispute with insurance, they sent us to collections, and since then, I’ve been receiving harassing calls from the collection agency. I paid the corrected bill (which was still an outrageous $550 for one hour of parent coaching!), yet today, I received another call from collections claiming I still owe money! This has to stop! Stop overcharging parents who are trying to support their kids and do your job! Why am I still being hounded by collections after I’ve paid?

I reached out to both Catalight staff and the collection agency, and it appears there’s an error somewhere, but I’m the one who has to deal with it! I’m writing this review because I am still in collections for no reason!

If I can give this place 0 stars. I totally would. Worst experience with them. Here are a few reasons why. 1. The clinical case managers never answer their phone (even if you leave a voicemail no call back). 2. The lady that answers the general phone number is RUDE and told me if I’m unhappy then I should pay for services out of pocket! 3. They ended contract with the provider my daughter goes to and they sent us an email notification informing us that in 30 days they will not have services with that provider. Talk about UNPROFESSIONAL! No respect to us as parents to even get phone call from our clinical case manager to inform us of changes and give us other options! I already called Kaiser to file of compliant! Please parents if you have Kaiser and are having this issue with catalight or any issue please call Kaiser and file a complaint against them!

Catalight is a joke. They cause a lot of unnecessary stress. I hate that we have to deal with them as Kaiser members. I would love to eliminate them from my child’s care. I got notification that they will discontinue my child’s services with our current provider as of August 27. This will cause harm and regression, and I do not feel they have the best interest of children in mind. Parents of other children affected by this should file complaints with Kaiser!

Unlike many other reviews, we have been having a good experience with Catalight Services so far. We are still new since our child being diagnosesd, but everyone at Catalight has been very helpful thus far.
