We love Oakmont. They have excellent leadership and management. The staff treat the residence like family. The team is always professional, caring, respectful, and more importantly, they are reliable and available when requested. We highly recommend Oakmont as a residence!

We love it here, I moved my parents in Day One of their opening, it is very difficult to find good memory care, and we've had previous bad experiences. They were both content, well fed, safe, with great staff. After my dad passed away recently, and I moved mom to smaller place, she continued to do even better than when she first moved in. She is more conversational, likes her independence, really likes going to meals and sitting with people, or choosing to watch her favorite programs in her room. They also bring in various entertainment, and have creative parties!

I tell people how the routine, the care, the excellent quality of the place overall, has improved her and you can tell she is content. She loves all the staff like family, I do too, they welcome visitors (some places do not). The incredible job they all did during the struggles of COVID and hiring challenges has been amazing.

None of these type places are cheap, but it is worth it to get the best and know your loved ones are treated kindly as they age and change.

Excellence!!! ?This is the word to comes to mind when I think of how happy my parents are in this community. From the director, to the nurse, to the med techs, care staff, and even the maintenance team, they all give nothing but the best care and respect to their residents. I love the concierge service and the time and attention that each resident is given. Let's not forget the food! Order up! Anything you want can be made or is available.This isn't an assisted living community, it's a FIVE STAR hotel that loves on my parents who worked hard their whole lives and deserve nothing but excellence ♥️

This place is amazing! My fathers care has been top notch. The staff has worked extensively to see that he is taken care of. He’s gone from not being very mobile to walking laps around the building. The physical therapy and occupational therapy has made such a difference. The food and restaurant staff has gotten a lot better. The nurses and aid’s that interact with my father are all very friendly and attentive. Amar, Lexi, Debbie and Kimberly just to name a few. With all this being said, we can’t thank the director Carmen enough for over seeing this difficult transition that my father has gone through.

Very impressed with the facility and staff. From the very beginning they were incredibly patient with all of my questions and made me feel confident and comfortable with moving mom in. It can be an overwhelming process but everything went so smoothly and most importantly she seems to have adjusted well.

My parents live in an apartment at Oakmont. Recent experiences (since visitors have been allowed again) have left me frustrated and dismayed. The management for the last year was incompetent. The staff that remains is kind and tries to make up for management void, but they can only do so much.

Their claims of the quality of food, life, activities and attention to patient care fall short and there seems to be little recourse for residents to make improvements while being charged for services that are sub-standard.

I have given Oakmont good reviews in the past, but I am extremely disappointed with their current excuse for a restaurant. When my parents first moved there last February, the dinners were quite good and we ate dinner at the dining room many times as I helped them move in.

We have all had challenges in this last year but there is absolutely no excuse for the quality of the food. I have been there many times recently now, and dinner ranges from unappetizing to inedible.

It seems the food is always overcooked, too salty or too spicy, and sadly nothing seems fresh.

I have taken to bringing dinner when I visit my parents rather than eat at the restaurant.

My mom has been a part of the Oakmont family for 5 years. She recently moved from Oakmont of Folsom to the new El Dorado Hills location to be closer to family. Not only is this new location absolutley stunning but the care my mom recieves on a daily basis is above and beyond. The staff are attentive, friendly and caring. I honestly don't know how Oakmont finds such amazing people. I would highly recommend both Oakmont of Folsom and Oakmont of El Dorado Hills. 5 out of 5 stars hands down!
