This is one shining star in the horribleness that is social services in Santa Barbara. The foodbank distributes good food, and a decent amount, too. All of their employees are good and decent people, in my experience. My only complaint is that they should have more distributions, but I guess everyone has to work with whatever funding they have.

Santa Barbara County Foodbank does so much for our community. Many agency distribution centers around town offer fresh produce and non-perishables for free. We give food every Thursday at Allan Hancock College, Salvation Army Tuesdays and Orcutt Presbyterian on Fridays. Thanks SBFoodbank!
