Horrific waste of taxpayer money. You can’t get anyone to pick up a phone, answer a question, parking lot is full with cars parking along street, and line of people goes out through the parking lot and along the ditch beside the road. And this is a system that we pay into. What a joke!

I've been trying to call the office for over 45 minutes. I have hung up on twice. Then when I think the phone is connecting me to a person it drones on in a robotic voice to go online.
If I'm supposed to make an appointment and I'm trying to do it by phone and I can't get a person: How then am I supposed to make an appointment?
I have a question that only a social security agent can answer and I had called the IRS and they told me to call the SS office. This whole tax season system is an absolute mess.
