Because of the attractive price I was a little wary of what it would be like. The room was very new and comfortable. Learning to use the electric fireplace heating system was new to me. It was very quiet. The bathroom was extremely well lighted and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone including a family. There was just two of us.

THIS PLACE IS SCAMMING PEOPLE!!

I booked a room here for my boyfriend’s birthday SPECIFICALLY because they advertised in-room spas. I did not book through a third party, or even online, because I was adamant about getting a room with a hot tub. I called to book, spoke to a woman who reserved a room with a tub for me. She never mentioned that they did not have the in-room spas anymore.

When we arrived, we were about 2 hours early for check in (check in time was 4pm, which is kinda ridiculous considering check out is 11am and the room was $300), but we wanted to check to see if by chance our room was available. When we walked into the lobby, the employee didn’t even greet us. She stared at us and finally said “You’re too early. Only one housekeeper showed up so the best I can do is 4:00). We didn’t expect to check in early, but the first impression of the service was not a good one.

When we came back at 4pm to check in, I verified that they had us down for a room with a tub. The woman confirmed, but then said it wasn’t a spa and that they had removed all spas from the hotel. I didn’t cause a scene, but internally I was LIVID! Not only did the sign outside of their hotel still say they had in-room spas, but there are still pictures of these heart-shaped hot tubs on their website!! The woman at the front desk said she would try to get a discount for me due to the inconvenience, and I was happy about that. When we checked out, the lobby was closed (wtf?) so we had to go back a couple hours later, and she confirmed I would get the discount. It’s been a week since my stay and I never received such discount. My card was charged the full amount.

I was warned about the renovations happening on the property, but it was BAD. There were boxes and pickup trucks all throughout the property. When we tried to drive to our room, a U-Haul moving truck was blocking the road and had to be moved by one of the contractors. It looked messy and unwelcoming outside.

The room itself was not bad, which is the only reason why we stayed. It looked like it had been updated. There were fake wood floors, an electric fireplace, and there was at least a nice bath tub, but definitely not the same as a hot tub.

I was initially going to give this place 3 stars, but the fact that I never received the discount really put an even worse taste in my mouth. The fact that the hot tubs are still on their website, and they don’t warn people when they book is insane.

Quaint and adequate... but old and in need of some care. But overall a decent place to stay in Bodega Bay. But pricing is a bit high for the value of the place. Beautiful overlook of the Bay and our room was very clean and plenty big. We don't think our room had a/c or heat (the very old thermostat on wall did not seem to control anything). We wanted to leave our sliding screen door open but it would not stay on the tracks when we tried to close it. This place was slightly cheaper than others on the bay but not by much.... as is, it should be much less. We did see construction going on in some buildings and beds and frames sitting in the parking lot.

We decided to stay in Bodega Bay after a day of hiking in Point Reyes. This was a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were modern, the continental breakfast was good, and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend it.

We stopped by here during our road trip up highway 1. We appreciated that they let us check in late as we were coming from a game in SF. Inn stated there were panoramic views, but the balcony in our room was blocked by other buildings and only showed a small lookout of the ocean. Would recommend getting an upper level room. We had a bottom floor room and could hear the upstairs person stomping around for hours. Room was very spacious and bathroom had a lot of space. Wish we had more time to explore the area.

We had a blast here. We were advised of construction going on and with young kids we didn’t mind. The price was definitely in our budget and yet we were able to make awesome memories during our stay. I can’t wait to come back and see all the new upgrades.

We stayed here for one night and it was a great experience. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and spacious. The location is quite nice as well, being very close to the bay. There were a few restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Stay! The hotel is currently undergoing a beautiful renovation and I appreciated the awareness of this before booking. I am looking forward to coming back and to being one of the first people to stay in one of the newly appointed rooms later this year.
