Very nice, kind, helpful people run by fellowship church. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They found out by word of mouth that I was having a rough time due to a Medicare screw up and health issues. They called me and said they wanted to help!! Great people!
My ex boss goes there. Wish they could teach him a thing or 2 about kindness, honesty and integrity. He needs some life lessons desperately.

Worth READING - I had never heard of this place prior to being asked to drive a person who doesn’t have driver license get to their appointment and assist in filling out form. They have vision problems. Based on the one interaction with one employee doesn’t bode well for this business. We arrived early to ensure that the appointment time would stay on schedule. Since he/she wasn’t able to figure out downloading &/or read the initial paperwork online.

Sign on the door had too much information for anyone who had never been there before to comprehend clearly. So, we rang the door bell for assistance. This blonde hair woman (name tag I couldn’t read without my glasses know it began with the letter “D”) answered it. She was not polite, aggressive, and spoke demeaningly. Her manners were ENTIRELY uncalled for. Without a doubt I would never use this place based on that one interaction. How could this business help anyone when the employees are callous and unwelcoming?

I am understanding to the plight that the employees deal with constant interruptions from patrons. Regardless, when the business is non profit and claims to be an (direct quote from the about section of this business) “initiative helps families move from CRISIS to career, using existing community resources”. This statement demands excellence and should ensure professionals remain courteous, and helpful. This employee was not one of these. People need to learn the ropes when going to a new place. Treating people with respect and decency should be the forefront when dealing with people in “crisis”! Professionals/employees are there to lend a hand. Any person/family that is in a less than optimal position in life should never have to be spoken to and/or treated as though they aren’t of value. Or made to feel like they are an inconvenience.

Being kind and generous costs zero money. Community donations come with a heavy burden of maintaining kindness. This employee is paid using charitable contributions from businesses and open hearted people.

I can tell you the way home I drove silently and thought. Wow! If that’s how they treat people why would anyone go there if they are at rock bottom?!? Expecting them to come back to be ill treated is an oxymoron.

Upon returning home and looking up this place. Seeing it’s a non-profit confirmed me to do this review. This review is based solely on one highly unpleasant employee (aka - human being that she is directly failing to be). I can only hope that the other employees (aka - human beings) will help “D” to learn how to treat all people that come to this business with no judgements, high level understanding, help build their character, and create a pleasant environment so that the people who come will be guided to their personal best. Even though their life isn’t at “par level”. It takes a village isn’t only for children. It takes a village to make all places/people in our world the best it can be wherever we are when we are there.
